Ford's new, purely battery-electric SUV is named after a legend: Ford Mustang Mach-E . The official presentation of the first electric model in the history of the iconic pony car family will take place next Sunday (November 17th) evening in Los Angeles (local time) with the help of actor Idris Elba.

The event will be streamed live on YouTube, Facebook and Twitter. Immediately after the broadcast, i.e. probably around 3:30 a.m. German time (CET), the reservation option for the new Ford Mustang Mach-E will start on the Ford website www.ford.de.

It's worth being quick: the first interested parties will be able to enjoy a special “First Edition”. The company will announce further details about this limited special model as well as the new Ford Mustang Mach-E next Monday.

Pre-ordering the new Ford Mustang Mach-E requires a deposit(1). Customers can pre-select their desired vehicle specification, open their own account on the Ford website and also select their preferred Ford partner there and enter their credit card information and address.

The exact scope of delivery of the desired Ford Mustang Mach-E will be specified over the next year when the regular ordering process begins.
