Fridingen an der Donau, Knopfmacher Felsen, L 277) Motorcyclist seriously injured in a fall
On Saturday afternoon, a motorcyclist suffered serious injuries in a fall on state road 277 in the area of the Knopfmacher lookout point near Fridingen. Previous rain had washed gravel from the shoulder onto the roadway of the L 277.
While driving over the dirty patch of road, the 62-year-old motorcyclist on his Harley-Davidson skidded around 12:40 p.m., veered off the road to the right and crashed into a ledge.
In the accident, the biker suffered a fractured lower leg on his right leg and had to be taken to the hospital in Tuttlingen for further care by emergency services. The Harley suffered material damage amounting to around 2,000 euros. This was transported away.
