The ebi-tec GPS Alarm 4.0 EDITION generation offers new protection for motorcycles

In recent years, GPS devices have proven themselves to be useful protection against theft for motor vehicles. However, it is increasingly being observed that thieves are restricting the function of the tracking devices with jammers, so-called jammers. The new GPS Alarm 4.0 EDITION series detects the manipulation and notifies the vehicle owner immediately.

For this purpose, ebi-tec uses a specially developed chip in the top model “Edition PROTECT”.

The top model “Protect” is available in three vehicle-specific versions:

The difference between the three top models lies in the coordination of the 3D acceleration sensor integrated in the GPS alarm device. Ebi-tec has set itself the goal of informing the vehicle owner immediately about any manipulation of the vehicle - if possible before it is stolen. Since mobile homes, cars and motorcycles exhibit different vibration behavior due to their design, size and weight, vehicle-specific coordination of the acceleration sensor is necessary in order to correctly measure, for example, the setting up of a motorcycle or a break-in into a vehicle.

The numerous features of the GPS alarm series, such as incognito standby, safe tracking and setting the motion sensitivity, are controlled using the free GPS ALARM Remote app.
This is available as an IOS and Android version. The GPS Alarm 4.0 Edition devices from ebi-tec are delivered preconfigured and only need to be connected to the power supply (6.8 volts to 32 volts).

According to the manufacturer, there are no monthly costs if prepaid mobile phone cards are used. The location is carried out via Google Maps hyperlink and also via the data from the radio cells.
