His name is Luis Castilla and he certainly has the best job in the world!
been cruising Norway since July 2nd
A varied and really exciting nature shows itself in all its facets, on this demanding route he drives towards the sun, on the mountain tops he has to fight with snow and the cold and in between the rain, which is all too well known in Norway, appears with full force.
Up and down the mountains, over the Atlantic Road, a road that leads through the middle of the sea with its bridges, where you can sometimes be surprised by a sea shower with full force - it couldn't be more adventurous!
The tour demands a lot from him, but he is well prepared and always has the right sound in his ears, either from the infotainment system of his Harley-Davidson Street Glide Special or from the exhaust system, both of which give you goosebumps.
As long as he was in Norway, he hasn't stayed anywhere, firstly because of the breathtaking nature and the roads that don't just lead straight ahead.
On the map it looks completely different than expected, a 200 km day trip can last until the evening. If you want to see something else and that's what Luis wants, time will run out pretty quickly, but if you have one then it's time! He doesn't have to be back before the beginning of August.
There are again many photos and small videos from his trip through Norway, they reflect something of what he was able to experience there!
Geiranger Fjord
Luis was at the Geiranger Fjord, the experience almost left him speechless, these cliffs and the deep view of the fjords are very special experiences and always having this silence, just the sound of nature in your ears, is a completely new feeling.
However, he also meets one or two ships, there are the mail ships that are also responsible for supplies to the remote islands and the large cruise ships that sneak through the narrow fjords.
There are even sea eagle tours, where they travel through the fjords in small boats and at well-known spots there are several sea eagles waiting for visitors, who lure the powerful animals with fresh fish in order to take a wildlife shoot with their cameras.
But that's only in passing, Luis is more enthusiastic about the different weather, snow above and sun below, the descents where a 40 ton truck can sometimes come towards you. Long tunnels in which one or two animals like to spend time, but where is the moose? If you want to see it, you have to be very quiet and have a bit of luck.
As a Harley rider you will meet friends all over the world!
That's also something special about riding a Harley, no matter where you are in the world, Harley riders always quickly get into conversation and in Luis' case it's particularly easy, especially if they already know he's coming.
That's how he met the Norwegian Harley biker Thorolf, who showed him many beautiful and interesting corners in Norway, perhaps even some that he would never have seen otherwise.
10,000 km in the middle of the tunnel!
Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetur adipiscing elit. Ut elit tellus, luctus nec ullamcorper mattis, pulvinar dapibus leo.
He also took a ferry ride, saw huge waterfalls and took a ride through a tunnel that was about 15 miles long. In the middle of this tunnel, he reached the 10,000 km mark on his odometer and thus on his journey through Europe!
Amazing, such a cool tour, he will never forget it and will probably only talk about Norway for a long time. On July 16th the time has come, it's time to say goodbye to Norway, a phenomenal and unforgettable country, a breathtaking nation. They are now heading to Denmark, then Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium and Great Britain.
