Dubrovnik
He left Grenoble with a heavy heart and is now on his way to Dubrovnik, the pearl of the Adriatic. The large entrance gate to the old and imposing city welcomes him; it is one of the most beautiful sea fortresses he has ever seen. On his ride, he gets to see so much of the culture of the respective countries that he wants to capture many memories in photos.
Croatia is a phenomenal country for him!
Dubrovnik has become one of his favorite places, but as nice as it is to relax by the sea or stroll through the beautiful old town, he continues on his Harley-Davidson Street Glide Special to the next country. With 5,000 km on the odometer, he still has a long way to go!
Slovenia
He is on his way to Ljubljana, the capital of Slovenia, where he spent the night and had the opportunity to meet other Harley riders who, of course, heard about his tour. But apparently he spent more time partying with the bikers in Ljubljana than taking photos, so we'll forgive him for that.
Austria
The tour from Slovenia to Austria inspires him once again, as he returns to the breathtaking mountain regions that he loves so much.
Now, in early summer, the grass and clean air in the mountains and valleys are lush green and have a very relaxing effect on him.
Salzburg
Mr. Wayne to Wolfgang. „Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart.“
His route takes him to Salzburg, where people like to stroll through the old town. There, on Mozartplatz, Mr. Wayne meets Wolfgang. Luis is also familiar with „Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart,“ not only because Falco was very successful with his song in the US, but also because he feels like he can hear the melody of The Magic Flute in his ears when he's on the square.
He is thrilled by the magnificent panorama of Salzburg; the mountains in the background come alive with the sound of music. He stands above Hohensalzburg Fortress and enjoys the view.
Luis continues his journey of discovery and has learned something new: the salt mines of the city of Salzburg are among the oldest mines in the world!
Salzburg has him spellbound, and the Eisriesenwelt ice caves await him, another absolute highlight on his tour of Europe. What a tour it has been, with rain, fog, blue skies, castles, and the largest ice caves in the world! The whole thing seems like something out of a fairy tale, he is so thrilled!
He needs to process these breathtaking impressions first, but Luis doesn't have much time to do so! The next countries are waiting for him, his next stop is Czechia, Germany with a stop in Berlin, and then it's straight on to Denmark.
