And the beat goes on
From June 22nd to 24th, the Hamburg Harley Days will rock perhaps the most beautiful city in Germany
• Europe's largest city motorcycle event
• 115 years of Harley-Davidson, 35 years of HOG, 15 years of Hamburg Harley Days
• Test rides, Wall of Death, Ride-In Bike Show and big parade
• International live acts on two stages and live streaming of all the highlights
(Neu-Isenburg, April 26, 2018) The residents are firmly convinced that there is no more beautiful place on earth than their Hamburg . There is undoubtedly a unique atmosphere in the Hanseatic city, characterized by the contrast between neighborhood and culture, huge pots and tiny barges, posh pepper bags and down-to-earth Pauli fans. There really is always something going on here.
This has been true since 2003, especially when thousands of Harleys cruise against the magnificent backdrop of Speicherstadt and Michel. At the time, the biker party was launched as a party for Harley-Davidson's 100th company anniversary. A year later it established itself under the name Hamburg Harley Days and became Europe's largest city motorcycle event. 2018 will be celebrated from June 22nd to 24th and the organizers are going all out on the occasion of the 115th birthday of Harley-Davidson , the 35th birthday of the Harley Owners Group and the 15th birthday of the Hamburg Harley Days.
The heart of the event - the tent city Harley Village at the wholesale market - takes up around 40,000 square meters, where everything that defines the biker lifestyle is presented: motorcycles, accessories, fashion and lots of entertainment. The current Harley-Davidson models can be test driven here and fearless motorcycle artists present their skills on the wooden steep wall. Visitors are also spoiled for choice between the many catering stands. With food and drink, you can enjoy the sight and sound of the countless bikes making their pilgrimage along Main Street through the Village. Late at night we head to the Reeperbahn, where the side location of the Hamburg Harley Days transforms Spielbudenplatz into a hip party mile.
On Saturday, custom fans will be drawn to Mönckebergstrasse, where the most beautiful converted machines will be showcased at the Ride-In Bike Show. Highlights like this can even be followed online via live stream on all three event days in 2018. An additional treat for fans of customized machines is the German and Austrian final of the big “Battle of the Kings” contest, in which three finalists from each country compete for the national winner’s crown. Football fans will also get their money's worth, as they can experience the Saturday World Cup game on a large screen. On all three days, live acts on two stages heat up the guests. The headliner on the Main Stage this year is John Diva and the Rockets of Love and promises nothing less than the ultimate eighties rock show with the greatest hits of all time.
There's another highlight to look forward to on Sunday, when the parade starts, where thousands of bikers can once again enjoy the beauty of Hamburg on a new route through the city. Of course, entry to the event is free and all fans of the Harley lifestyle are welcome. Further information can be found on the website www.hamburgharleydays.de .
