The Hamburg Harley Days attracted around half a million fans to the Hanseatic city from July 4 to 6

- Around 50,000 motorcycles cruised through the city
- Around 8,000 bikes at the parade
Who from July 4 to 6 in Hamburg If you've been there, you'll never forget the experience, and the memories of the mega event are likely to last for quite some time. The facts: This year, more than 500,000 visitors from Germany and all over the world experienced the Hamburg Harley Days. On three predominantly sunny and hot days, around 50,000 motorcycles - most of them American - roared through the city. The feeling: indescribable.
The eye of the hurricane was once again the „Harley Village“ at the wholesale market. Bike after bike cruised along the main street - see and be seen was the order of the day. With free admission, people met up to talk petrol, browse through an extra wide range of bikes, accessories and clothing and, of course, to party. Everyone was welcome, regardless of whether they came by Harley, moped or commuter train. In the Customer Experience Area, Harley-Davidson presented the latest models for the season. Here you could also sign up for a free test ride.
Visitors were particularly impressed by the new 2014 Touring models, which were able to demonstrate their qualities on a particularly long test drive route. A special kind of fascination was also exuded by the elaborately converted and
Friesisches Brauhaus presented Jever Bikes, which will soon be raffled off, as well as Jeep four-wheelers, which everyone was allowed to take the wheel of on an off-road course.
Every evening was pure party time. Ohrenfeindt and Tom Beck were among the seventeen bands and musicians who rocked three stages. On Friday, people cheered on Jogi's eleven to victory in front of the big screen - only to keep on rocking afterwards. Late at night, hissing fire shows bathed the grounds in a romantic reddish-yellow glow. Last but not least, of course, it was off to the Reeperbahn, where the party on a second event site at Spielbudenplatz simply wouldn't end night after night.
At the Ride-In Bike Show on Saturday in Mönckebergstraße, guests were inspired by the most beautiful of the beautiful conversions - the material for dreaming and talking shop was provided by around 100 unique bikes that competed against each other in the top-class contest. Some of them provided impressive proof the very next day that they were not just built for show. In the end, they were included in the highly acclaimed parade, which was led by singer Peter Maffay, TV chef Horst Lichter, actors Tanja Schumann and Till Demtrøder and „Mr. Tagesschau“, Jan Hofer.
The Köhlbrandbrücke, Baakenhafen, the Landungsbrücken and the Reeperbahn were among the highlights of the 33-kilometer route. Together with the celebrities, the participants enjoyed one of the most beautiful cities in Germany on around 8,000 machines.
It goes without saying that Harley-Davidson and the international Harley family will be heading for Hamburg again next year.
The next Hamburg Harley Days are expected to take place from June 26 to 28, 2015.
