Hamburg Harley Days 2025 Review
A Hanseatic city caught up in Harley fever
The Hamburg Harley Days attracted thousands of visitors to celebrate freedom on two wheels for a whole weekend.
(Frankfurt, 02.07.2025) - From June 27 to 29, Europe's largest city motorcycle event, the Hamburg Harley Days, attracted around 60,000 visitors to the beautiful Hanseatic city. They experienced three days full of energy, music and good vibrations in the style of the house Harley-Davidson. The epicenter of the event was once again the Harley Village tent city on the extensive wholesale market grounds - with the best view of Hamburg landmarks such as the Michel.

Here, the sound of V-Twins mingled with that of numerous live bands, including Motörizer and Ohrenfeindt, the smell of barbecue filled the air, and the friendly atmosphere captivated visitors.
Incidentally, it wasn't just Harley fans who attended, but also numerous guests who appreciate the feeling of freedom on two wheels and share a passion for cool parties and good music. Several celebrities such as Simon Böer, Eve Champagne, Till Demtrøder, Linus Erdmann, Kalle Haverland, Ben Kauer, and Fabian Zahrt were spotted at the event, and even motorcycle enthusiast and rock musician Peter Maffay paid a visit, further underscoring the significance of the event.

The newly established H.O.G. Area, where a large welcome party was held on Friday, proved to be a popular meeting place for members of the Harley Owners Group and everyone who loves the lifestyle associated with the bikes from Milwaukee. Another new feature was the Used Bike Market, where visitors could find a wide range of attractive used motorcycles – the ideal opportunity for sellers and buyers to network. With classic and modern machines, Hamburg Harley Days also provided fascinating insights into the long history of the world's most traditional motorcycle manufacturer.
In addition to the oldies Electra Glide and Fat Boy from 1965 and 1990, respectively, their latest incarnations were also on display: the Street Glide Ultra and the strictly limited Fat Boy Gray Ghost. Among the new models, which were of course also available for free test rides, were the road-oriented Pan America 1250 ST and the comprehensively redesigned cruisers. Not far from the test ride area, H-D dealers and various independent traders presented a huge selection of accessories and clothing.

Numerous caterers also battled hunger and thirst among the guests, while the 600-square-meter tattoo area offered plenty of body art and 15 live bands got the crowd going wild from two stages. The fascinating motorcycle acrobatics of artist Mel Chy and the spectacular stunt shows by Chris Lietsch and DOP took your breath away, and four tours led by the local H.O.G. Chapter showed participants the beauty of northern Germany.
On Saturday, 65 perfectly customized bikes provided plenty of fuel for conversation at the international Custom Bike Show. The coveted Best of Show title went to a bike owned by a private participant from Germany. One day later, visitors revved their engines to kick off the large and enthusiastically celebrated motorcycle parade through Hamburg. Led by Peter Maffay, around 6,000 participants paid tribute to their hosts.

Harley-Davidson Senior Vice President Kolja Rebstock sums it up: „The 2025 Hamburg Harley Days were an unforgettable experience that brought to life the passion for our brand and the associated feeling of freedom on two wheels. So it's only logical that we'll be back. We are already looking forward to the next Hamburg Harley Days, which will take place from June 26 to 28, 2026.“ Further information can be found at hamburgharleydays.com.
