Take me to funky town
The Hamburg Harley Days 2012 will take place from June 22nd to 24th
Harley and Hamburg – they go together like Rolling and Stones.
If you want to experience this dream couple in 2012, you should mark June 22nd to 24th in red in your calendar, because then the Hanseatic city will be on its head again: It's 'Hamburg Harley Days' time.
The “Harley Village” at the wholesale market – blessed with a unique panoramic view of HafenCity and Michel – is filled to bursting with good stuff about motorcycles in general and Harley-Davidson in particular.
In 2012, authorized dealers, traders and customizers will use even more space in the “dealer area” than in previous years. The pole dancers also guarantee very special moments there, impressively demonstrating that dance on the pole can be at its finest not only from an erotic perspective, but also from an artistic perspective.
And since the organizers have further upgraded the gastronomic offering, it can be assumed that growling in the stomach and dryness in the throat have zero chance.
Of course the current Harley-Davidson models are at the start.
You can look at them in the expo tent, and during the “demo rides” anyone with a driving license can jump on them to accelerate on a test drive.
The current Jever bikes and the precious metal at the Ride-In Bike Show promise a big boost of happiness hormones, and anyone who appreciates an extra dose of adrenaline will get their kicks at the stunt shows by motorcycle acrobat Rainer Schwarz.
Wherever Harley-Davidson parties, there is good music, and nothing will change that at this year's Hamburg Harley Days.
Among others, Jimi Jamison – known as the long-time frontman of “Survivor” – will be on stage with his band “One Man's Trash” on Friday, June 22nd. And on Saturday, June 23rd, the Canadian troupe “Jonas & The Massive Attraction” will give you rocking goosebumps.
Traditionally, Reeperbahn cruising continues until late into the night; after all, there is a second location for the event on the “sinful mile”.
The parade of Harley fans and their friends will be top in 2012.
Anyone who owns a vehicle with two wheels and an engine can take part.
Experience Hamburg from the saddle, in the middle of hundreds of thundering V-twins - that's unique! So unique that even Keith E. Wandell, President and Chief Executive Officer of the Harley-Davidson Motor Company from Milwaukee, USA, won't miss it and is planning a special trip to the Hanseatic city.
The Hamburg Harley Days are simply too cool to miss because you have to travel a few extra miles!
