Harley biker stopped after high-speed chase

1. After a chase: 28-year-old motorcyclist without a license stopped – Seligenstadt
(lei) Legal consequences for suspected illegal motor racing and driving without a license are likely to face a 28-year-old Harley rider since Wednesday afternoon, after he engaged in a high-speed chase with the police. At around 4:45 p.m., the Mainhausen resident was reportedly traveling at excessive speed on Frankfurter Straße in Seligenstadt, according to the findings of the plainclothes patrol, which then took up pursuit and signaled the biker to stop.
Instead of complying, he allegedly accelerated the motorcycle further and drove at more than 100 kilometers per hour, despite the speed limit of 50 or 70 kilometers per hour. He then continued his escape along State Road 2310, where, according to the officers, he drove at 150 kilometers per hour in order to shake off the law enforcement officers.
This failed, because when he turned onto Dudenhöfer Straße and then onto Diebweg, the cat-and-mouse game was over. The reason for this was probably the fact that he did not have a driver's license. The Harley was seized.
The owner of the motorcycle is now also under investigation. He is accused of allowing the 28-year-old to drive without a license.
Witnesses who can provide information about the 28-year-old's driving behavior are asked to contact the Seligenstadt police at 06182 8930-0.
