Harley Casting Show 2016 in Jork
The Harley Casting Show 2016 event took place in Jork for the fifth time on the first Saturday in August.
The family event, in the middle of downtown Jork, at the “Altländer Markt” attracts around 400 Harleys to the city every year. The focus is on the Harleys and around them are a few stands that provide for the general welfare. Every year, the three-person team Hubi, Joachim and Jutta put in the greatest effort to put the event together. This year, the Harley-Davidson authorized dealer Hamburg Süd on site for the first time with a stand and showed its colors.
Many sponsors and some retailers form the financial framework of the event, it's not about profit, I haven't been able to get a cola in a 0.3L cup for €1.50 for a long time. But as long as the event remains on a small scale, the authorities don't have to come up with security concepts and whatever else there is. A stage, a few good live bands and everything is well done, plus the Harley casting, where the best 5 Harleys receive an award, plus meeting a few friends and like-minded people, you've had a perfect day in Jork.
There are also pins every year and this year there was an event T-shirt, which is now also available at the ice cream parlor at the market in Jork.
So it doesn't always have to be a big meeting, even at a small one like in Jork there are many beautiful Harley's to see, some of them made it into the gallery, remember for 2017, the first Saturday in August, A little tour into the old country is always worth it.
