Am 23. Januar 2025 um 17:00 Uhr stellt Harley-Davidson die neuen Modelle vor. An updated Pan America ST and a kind of naked bike, about which many rumors are circulating, are particularly expected. In addition, at least three ST models are planned, including a Low Rider S 117 with high output.

Events 2025: What's coming up?
The year 2025 offers exciting events such as the Hamburg Harley Days and the Bike Days Willingen. Both events will focus on new concepts with extended offers for H.O.G. members and anyone who would like to become one. The focus is clearly on custom bikes - an area in which new accents will be set in 2025. If you are interested in customized Harley-Davidson motorcycles, these events are an absolute highlight.
The annual Harley-Davidson Homecoming Festival is once again taking place in the USA. Harley-Davidson has just announced two top acts: Hank Williams Jr. and Chris Stapleton are expected to take the stage in Milwaukee in 2025, and Stapleton in particular is really cool.

New regulations for motorcycle tires from 2025
Stricter regulations for motorcycle tires will apply from January 1, 2025. Tires with a production date up to 2019 may only be used until the end of 2024. Clearance certificates will lose their validity from this date. Riders should check early on whether their tires meet the new requirements in order to avoid problems. For many drivers, this means checking early and getting new tires if necessary. The TÜV-Sued provides a comprehensive overview of the new rules.
KessTech insolvency: What does this mean?
A topic that concerns many: KessTech has filed for insolvency under self-administration. According to the company, however, deliveries and guarantees remain secured. The economic problems appear to have resulted from last year's takeover. Nevertheless, there are positive signals: deliveries, warranties and service, including for older systems, should continue to be guaranteed. I will keep you up to date on developments.

New start in Regensburg and Kassel
Good news for the community: Harley-Davidson Regensburg will resume operations with a small team on January 16, 2025. At the same time, they are still looking for staff. Maybe don't overrun the company with requests right at the start, give them a few weeks to reorganize!
Something is also happening in Kassel: the new authorized dealer is planning to open before the start of the season. I expect more information about the dealer in Kassel after the presentation of the new 2025 model year.
Registration figures for 2024: a strong December
The 2024 registration figures are available online. Particularly striking: December was unusually strong, as many vehicles were registered with one-day registration in order to avoid the new Euro 5 Plus standard. The figures impressively show how these changes are affecting the market.
