HARLEY-DAVIDSON ACHIEVES TOP TEN POSITION AT THE SIX-HOUR RACE IN OSCHERSLEBEN
The brand impresses with its racing bikes and CO₂-neutral power
(FRANKFURT, 15.10.2025) - Harley-Davidson has made its mark in European motorsport and finished among the top ten in the Superbike class in the last race of the German Endurance Cup for motorcycles at the Motorsport Arena Oschersleben. The endurance race impressively demonstrated the skills of the riders, the resilience of the machines and the technical progress - and Harley-Davidson impressed!
Two H-D teams competed, each emphasizing a different facet of the US brand's expertise in terms of technology and racing.

- Team 131 competed in the Endurance class with a Harley-Davidson Performance Bagger prepared for racing, which was created in cooperation with Wilbers Products. Riders David Datzer and Andreas Schäfer maintained second place in the field before a hairline fracture in the custom-built fuel tank forced them to make a strategic race exit after 134 laps. Team boss André Jäger praised the performance of the machine and described the result as a successful stress test under tough racing conditions.
- Team 121 completed the six hours in the Superbike class. Thilo Günther rode an almost standard Harley-Davidson Pan America 1250 ST, while Chris Lietsch piloted the Hooligan bike named Plan B, which was manufactured by Harley-Davidson Germany. The team secured ninth place in the class, underlining the reliability and power of the Pan America 1250 series.

The use of synthetic e-fuels from Nordoel enabled the Harley-Davidson teams to run a 95 percent CO₂-neutral race without any engine modifications - a clear step towards sustainable motorsport that underlines the American brand's environmental awareness. In addition, the H-D teams were supported by partners such as Wilbers Products, Dr. Jekill & Mr. Hyde, Metzeler and Don Performance.
The Harley-Davidson bikes that have proven themselves in racing are of course also available in road-legal versions. Information is available at Harley-Davidson.com where you can also find the nearest authorized dealer.
