HARLEY-DAVIDSON® AND FORD ENTER MOBILITY PARTNERSHIP FOR 2022
NEU-ISENBURG, May 6, 2022 - Harley-Davidson has agreed on a partnership with Ford for this year's motorcycle manufacturer's events in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. The Detroit car manufacturer is providing Harley-Davidson with eight Ford Ranger models as towing and show vehicles for the planned Harley-Davidson events in 2022. Highlights of these events include the Hamburg Harley Days in June, the Swiss Harley Days in July and the European Bike Week in September.
As pioneers in automobile and motorcycle manufacturing, the two brands are united by their respective corporate histories, which for both companies are closely interwoven with values such as freedom, passion and adventure. In addition, both Harley-Davidson with the sub-brand LiveWire® and Ford with the Mustang Mach-E models are driving the transformation towards electric mobility.
Ford is supporting Harley-Davidson at numerous important events in 2022 with a total of eight copies of the Ford Ranger, Europe's best-selling pick-up.
Six Ford Ranger Stormtrak, a special edition with a double cab, 156 kW (213 hp) 2.0-l EcoBlue Bi-Turbo diesel engine, 10-speed automatic transmission and 500 Nm torque, are available as towing vehicles. In addition, a Ford Ranger Raptor with the same engine and a Ranger Wolftrak with an extra cabin, 125 kW (170 hp) 2.0-l EcoBlue engine and 6-speed manual transmission - both in Conquer Gray paint with an eye-catching finish - will also be at the events Harley-Davidson branding – used as show vehicles. The joint appearance of Harley-Davidson and Ford begins with the Harley-Davidson Experience Tour, which begins on May 6, 2022 and in which the Ford Rangers are used as towing vehicles in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
