PRELIMINARY STARTING FIELD CONTINUES TO GROW
Harley-Davidson confirms agreements with NitiRacing, a race team from Indonesia, which joins the already confirmed Saddlemen Race Development (United States), Cecchini Racing Garage (Italy) and Joe Rascal Racing (Australia).
NitiRacing is the first Indonesian team to enter the Bagger World Cup and presents itself with this bold new idea in global motorsport.
Building on its national development in the racing circuit and its professional teamwork, NitiRacing represents Indonesia's ambition to compete, grow and lead at an international level. The race team combines national Indonesian traditions with modern racing expertise, brings fresh energy and global vision, and is committed to long-term involvement in international motorcycle racing.
Another booster for the inaugural season is that Joe Rascal Racing has been given permission to enter three drivers instead of two, which increases the starting grid for the debut season accordingly.
„With the addition of NitiRacing and the approval of a third rider for Joe Rascal Racing, the provisional entry list now includes four teams and nine riders,“ explains Jeffrey Schuessler, Global Director of Racing Programs at Harley-Davidson.
„This gives us a strong and competitive base for the first year and, given the ongoing discussions with other teams, we are confident that we can continue to grow the series in a structured and sustainable way given the global interest.“
A provisional driver line-up will be announced in the coming weeks.
