Congratulations
Mischa Jaeckel picked up his newly won Dyna Street Bob from Harley-Davidson Breitenfelde
“Otherwise I would never actually win anything,” admits Michael “Mischa” Jaeckel. The Hamburg native is smiling from ear to ear because he won a Dyna Street Bob at this year's Super Rally of the Federation Harley-Davidson Clubs Europe (FH-DCE).
Mischa had no idea that his name had been drawn from the 12,500 competition participants and was called.
The 55-year-old only found out about his good fortune when a representative from the FH-DCE called him at home a few days later.
“You hang up the phone and you just don’t believe it,” grins the V-Twin fan. "I looked at my wife and said, 'That was fake'." But it wasn't... And so Björn Andersson from Harley-Davidson Breitenfelde now had the honor of handing the newly minted Dyna rider the keys to his new machine and ceremoniously handing him the jet black bike.
The motorcycle seems to suit Mischa perfectly, as it is a machine reduced to the essentials with a strong character and a powerful heart that develops a powerful thrust of 124 Nm. The Mini Ape Hanger, the very low solo seat and centrally mounted footrests not only look strong, but also ensure a cool seating position.
Mischa, who fulfilled his dream 26 years ago with his first Harley, which he bought at the time, is extremely happy - after all, he is a V2 driver by conviction. The speedometer on his current '87 Softail Custom shows an impressive 115,000 kilometers and the machine still runs like clockwork. “The engine seals were replaced once, otherwise I never had to do anything to them other than the inspections!” says the Hamburg resident happily. So it's no surprise that no other brand other than this certain US brand would come into his garage.
“A Harley simply lives. Anything that looks like metal is, and the feeling it gives you when you drive it is simply unique.”
With so much genuine enthusiasm, you can only be happy and wish Mischa a safe journey together with Harley dealer Björn Andersson and his team.
