The end of a 19-year era in Las Vegas - The Harley-Davidson Cafe is closed.

The legendary Harley-Davidson Cafe in Las Vegas has closed its saloon doors for good after 19 years.

We are still a little shocked, but it can happen that quickly, the whole cafe has already been cleared out, the Harleys, pictures, signs and everything that was in the historic cafe in terms of Harley history has been auctioned off in Las Vegas without further ado.

A 19-year history on Las Vegas Blvd. has now come to an end, where all the Harley crazies got married or flew in with their buddies to celebrate a milestone birthday. For many, there are certainly great memories associated with their visit to the Harley Cafe, which will of course remain!

For the Harley rider, a visit to the Harley-Davidson Cafe Las Vegas was inevitable, it had to be done somehow! It's similar to the Hard Rock Cafe's, but the Harley-Davidson Cafe was always one step above, the legendary cafe was really a very special cafe. Many bikes, pictures and tanks signed by the „Who's Who“ of the scene, whole bike shows were held there and the T-shirts had to be bought there too.

The inventory has just been auctioned off in Las Vegas, and there was certainly a bargain for some of you. Over 500 iconic parts with history went under the hammer.

It's sad that such an iconic business has just been wiped out, I was there myself in the spring and probably took the last 360° shots of the Harley-Davidson Cafe.  

It is actually unimaginable that there was no one to prevent this, often there are people who are not interested in such actions, it is a pity that no investor or intusiast was found.

But that's how it is now, everything cleared out and sold, the Harley's were mainly replicas, the replica Billy Joel Harley-Davidson from 1980 went for 21,000 dollars, the Easy Rider Chopper and the Elvis Presley Tribute Bike from 1957 found a new owner for 7500 dollars each. These were also the most expensive items, the rest were more of a pile of crap. When I see an Elvis Presley Gold Record Award „Hound Dog“, „Don't Be Cruel“, a 24K gold-plated single in a frame with certificate going for 850 dollars over the counter, you have to wonder what was going on. And that was a lot, Billy Idol only fetched 350 dollars. It makes your heart bleed a little, but that's life!
