2018 marks the 115th year in Harley-Davidson history. To celebrate the anniversary, the company is planning two major events: the 115th Anniversary Party from July 5th to 8th, 2018 in Prague and the birthday event in the USA, which will take place during the Labor Day weekend from August 30th to September 3rd Milwaukee is rising. Two mega motorcycle parties to which Harley-Davidson invites not only friends of the brand, but all fans of engines, music and a good mood - everyone who still knows exactly what it was like to feel this feeling for the first time and everyone who finally want to experience it for yourself.
Since 1903, generations of motorcyclists have started their machines to live their very own and individual dream: fearless board trackers, rebellious café racers, courageous dragster pilots, indomitable club members, resourceful garage tinkerers and long-distance mile eaters. Harley-Davidson dedicates its 115th anniversary in Prague to all of them. Without the people on the machines, the brand would not have become what it is.
In the Czech capital you will meet old friends and make new ones - people who share a passion for the feeling of freedom on two wheels. Not only drivers of all brands are welcome, but also people who don't yet own a motorcycle. The Prague party crowns a portfolio of major events organized by Harley-Davidson across Europe - including the European Bike Week in Austria, where more than 100,000 people traditionally celebrate Harley-Davidson style for a week in September.
Prague is the perfect venue for a large birthday party, as Harley-Davidson has a long connection with the Czech Republic and its capital. Prague is home to the oldest Harley Club in the world: The Harley-Davidson Club Prague has been around for 90 years now.
To properly celebrate 115 years of company history, Harley-Davidson is exhibiting more than 150 motorcycles from all eras in an expo tent and taking visitors on an interactive journey through the history of the brand. Of course, the current product range will also be presented - with extensive test drives on the Harley-Davidson demo truck.
At the center of the action is the HOG Village and the Dark Custom Area, where Harley-Davidson presents its machines reduced to the essentials. The spectrum of live bands on the open-air stage ranges from blues to rock, reggae and rap to Czech and Slovakian sounds, while the action-packed motorcycle stunt shows ensure pure adrenaline.
On Saturday, July 7th, thousands of Harley-Davidson bikers will roll through the historic center of Prague in the big parade - an absolute highlight. The big custom bike show focuses on maximum creativity and artistic skill when converting motorcycles. And since Harley-Davidson doesn't just want to appeal to adults, the Family Zone also puts a smile on the faces of young people. Meanwhile, “big kids” can put their driving skills to the test in the biker games.
The Jeep brand – partner and sponsor of major Harley-Davidson events – is of course also represented at the 115th anniversary in Prague. Jeep is offering fans the opportunity to get behind the wheel of an off-road icon. In the Jeep Lounge you will also find a large selection of merchandise items.
