Harley-Davidson Charity Tour 2025 kicks off in Austria

The 28th Harley-Davidson® Charity tour rolls out from August 13-17 for people with muscular diseases!
Vienna, August 5, 2025 – The Harley-Davidson The Charity Tour (HDCT) is kicking off for the 28th time and will be cruising across Austria from August 13 to 17, 2025, to raise money for people with muscle diseases. The tour combines a passion for motorcycles with a deep social commitment. The donations collected will be used, in cooperation with the Licht ins Dunkel emergency aid fund, to finance therapies, aids, and car conversions for affected families, among other things.
„After the fantastic international participation last year, we expect bikers from Austria and abroad to support our mission again in 2025,“ said President Dieter Baier. „The HDCT's reputation as Europe's largest traveling charity event extends far beyond Austria's borders. We are particularly proud that we were able to provide over €363,000 in support in 2024.“
This year's tour promises another unforgettable experience with impressive routes, live music, and above all, a great sense of community.

Wednesday, August 13 – Kick-off in Vienna and festive finale in Bad Radkersburg:****
The tour starts in Vienna with the first donations being handed over to long-standing partners. Siblik and huma eleven, where presenter Alex List welcome tour founder Ferdinand O. Fischer and numerous prominent supporters, as well as songwriter Laura Heily entertains visitors.
The impressive column of Harleys then continues onward via SKL Automobiles in Korneuburg on Rotenturm Castle, where a family festival with an F1 simulator and the ARBÖ will be held in support of HDCT. The final destination of the first day of the tour will be in Bad Radkersburg reached, where a big party with live music from the energetic band Smashtime awaits the participants and moderator Kristina Schranz asks for donations.
Thursday, August 14 – Carinthian hospitality and the Schladming-Dachstein Nights:
From Bad Radkersburg, a breathtaking route leads to Carinthia, with a stop in lava mouth. Here, bikers are welcomed with live music from the band „The Three Monkeys“ and free admission to the picturesque swimming lake. The next stop is in St. Veit an der Glan, where the „Wheels for Charity“ festival takes place. Here, the „Westbahnhof Combo“ provides musical entertainment and airbrush artist Martin Zuschnig adds creative touches. The day culminates in Schladming, at an event that strengthens the community and where TV favorite Harry Prünster calls for generosity for a good cause.
Friday, August 15 – Alpine panoramas and Tyrolean flair:
On Friday, Harry Prünster will accompany the tour through the impressive mountain world to Mittersill. There, tour participants and visitors can expect a lively street food market with a wide range of culinary offerings. The tour then continues through breathtaking landscapes to Lienz, where „Kyera & Band“ will perform on the main square of the sunny town of East Tyrol and donations will be collected. Finally, the route takes us over the Großglockner to our destination for the day. Maria Alm, where, nestled in the picturesque mountain world of the Hochkönig, donations are requested to the music of „Rockytop.".
Saturday, August 16 – Innviertel tradition and summer festival in Ried:
On Saturday, the tour starts at 1:00 p.m. and goes to Attnang-Puchheim, where the fundraising campaign will continue and Black Belt Disaster will rock the town hall square. The tour continues to Obernberg am Inn, one of Austria's most beautiful market squares, where many Vespa riders from the Innviertel region join the procession, which then heads to Ried im Innkreis to drive. A summer festival will be held there in support of HDCT, attracting thousands of visitors with musical support from PLUS to encourage donations. Here, a passion for motorcycling and tireless commitment to people with muscular diseases merge into an unforgettable experience for everyone involved.
Sunday, August 17 – The grand finale in Pressbaum:
The last day of the 28th Harley-Davidson tour® Charity tour takes bikers to corn mania in Wilhering. Donations are collected to the sound of brass band music and morning drinks before the impressive tour begins in Pressbaum comes to a dignified and emotional conclusion. Here, the community is celebrated and the total amount of donations collected during the tour for people with muscular diseases is announced.
In September, at the European Bike Week Donations will be collected once again, after which the charity year will be brought to a fitting close with a traditional gala in Vienna on November 8, 2025.
