Harley-Davidson presents the new CVO models
, CVO Breakout and CVO Road King
CVO (“Custom Vehicle Operations”) are exclusive special models produced in strictly limited small series, which are stylishly refined using a variety of original accessories, provided with high-quality special paintwork and air-cooled 1,800 cm³ V-twins are equipped.
In 2013, Harley-Davidson is offering four of these exceptional bikes. The CVO Ultra Classic Electra Glide and the CVO Road Glide Custom come in a new, even more elegant finish than before. The CVO Breakout and the CVO Road King are completely new.
Only a few hundred units of each model are destined for Europe.
The CVO Breakout is based on the Softail chassis, which gives the impression of a rigid frame thanks to its struts that are hidden under the engine.
This chopper stretches long and crouched over the asphalt. There are three elegant paint finishes to choose from - two with segments made of highly polished metal, one with segments made of pigment lacquer.
The new chrome-plated and polished Turbine light alloy cast wheels have distinctive bars on the rims.
Tight fenders allow a clear view of the tires. The wide front end is chrome-plated and is crowned by a chrome-plated headlight and a new, narrowly cut headlight fairing.
The chrome-plated console sits extra low on the tank.
In addition, the CVO Breakout has a new chrome-plated handlebar with internal cable routing, an integrated riser with a low-mounted combination instrument, a chrome-plated oil tank made of cast light metal and leather seats in embossed alligator style.
The CVO Road King also impresses with fascinating paintwork and impressive equipment features.
This includes the 200 watt audio system with speakers in the cases and in the fairing as well as an interface for the included Apple iPod. The new removable and ventilated windshield was specially optimized in the wind tunnel.
Leather seats, high-gloss chrome-plated wheels and side cases with extensions are just a few of the numerous other features that make using this exclusive machine extremely pleasant.
In addition, individually numbered 110th Anniversary special models of the CVO Road King, CVO Ultra Classic Electra Glide and CVO Road Glide Custom are available in the exclusive “Diamond Dust and Obsidian” paint finish in 2013.
