New CVO motorcycle technology
HD Connect**: HD Connect, which is standard on all CVO models from the 2020 model year, provides the driver with information about their vehicle via the Harley-Davidson app on their smartphone. It ensures that the driver always remains connected to his machine, even if the two are physically separated from each other.
Reflex Defensive Rider Systems (RDRS): RDRS is also standard equipment on all CVO models from the 2020 model year. The electronic assistance system package combines the most modern chassis, braking and drive technology to adapt the acceleration and deceleration forces to the available tire grip in every driving situation.
Daymaker LED headlights with adaptive cornering lights: The Daymaker LED headlights, which are standard on the CVO Limited and the CVO Street Glide, now feature an adaptive cornering light function.

An electronic control with patented sensors integrated directly into the headlight regulates twelve additional LED lights depending on the current lean angle in order to illuminate edge areas of the road in curves that conventional passive headlights cannot reach.
The adaptive cornering lights are active for both high beam and low beam. The light from the LED projectors is focused onto the road and is optimized for the highest possible light output with the least possible disruption to oncoming traffic. A striking outer LED ring forms the parking light.
Wireless Headset: Included with all 2020 CVO models is a boom! Audio 30K Bluetooth helmet headset for wireless connection to the on-board Boom! Box GTS infotainment system included, which is based on the latest mesh intercom network technology. In public mode, this digital protocol automatically connects with several other drivers within range.
In private mode, it enables a network connection with up to 16 drivers over a distance of up to eight kilometers.
At the same time, the headset offers all the functions of a wired headset (hands-free function, navigation instructions, radio and music player as well as voice guidance) and is compatible with the Apple CarPlay requirements for microphones on the Boom! Box GTS infotainment system.
Thanks to the quick charging function, 20 minutes of charging time is enough to ensure up to five hours of talk time.
Premium boom! Box GTS infotainment systems with high-quality audio part

CVO Street Glide: Boom! Box GTS infotainment system with four Boom! Stage II three-way speakers and bi-amping as well as 150 watts RMS power per speaker.
Each pair of speakers is powered by a separate four-channel 300 watt amplifier, resulting in a total output of 600 watts - a Harley-Davidson audio system at its best that surrounds the rider with rich, clear sound.
CVO Limited and CVO Tri Glide: Boom! Box GTS infotainment system with four Boom! Stage I two-way speakers (built into the fairing and Tour-Pak) powered by a four-channel amplifier with 300 watts RMS power.
Exclusively with Milwaukee-Eight 117 engine

Thanks for the information! What I noticed is that the Street Glide CVO no longer has the leg shields or the speakers built into them. The Street Glide Spezial, which is 13,000 cheaper in Austria, is the better option. So Long… Edi from Salzburg
Hello Edi,
you may have noticed that the new CVOs have a lot of new technical features, the fact that the leg shields are now gone, something will certainly be a cost saving in order to be able to keep the price. Cornering ABS, adaptive cornering lights RDRS, HD Connect and I mean heated grips are now standard on the CVO models. I also think that the leg shields are somehow missing, but you can still add them as extras. The Special has 114cui and doesn't have the extras mentioned, but of course they are beautiful bikes and the 114cui engine also runs great, it's always a question of what you want yourself, the sound system on the CVO is a noticeable difference. But you could of course simply upgrade the Special with whatever you want and get a nice bike. Many greetings, Volker
