Harley-Davidson dealerships are Austrian industry champions in customer satisfaction
- The ÖGVS analyzed 320,000 customer opinions on around 1,900 companies
- H-D dealers have the most satisfied motorcycle customers in Austria
- The ÖGVS awarded the US brand the title of „Industry Champion 2020“
(Neu-Isenburg, 26.02.2020) Which companies have the most satisfied customers in Austria? This question was posed by the Gesellschaft für Verbraucherstudien mbH (ÖGVS), an independent research institute that conducts empirically based and objective surveys. For their Industry Monitor 2020 fetched the ÖGVS more than 320,000 customer opinions on 1,894 companies from 180 sectors.
Companies with at least 100 customer ratings were included in the evaluation. The result presented in February: Harley-Davidson is the number one in the automotive and mobility sector when it comes to Customer satisfaction with motorcycle dealers - and relegated a German and an Austrian manufacturer to second and third place. The US brand was also named one of the 300 Austrian industry champions in 2020 by the ÖGVS.
„The expertise of our authorized dealers is constantly being trained and enhanced in the training courses at our Harley-Davidson University. But it is only one of the key success factors for the dealership,“ knows Frank Schimossek, Country Manager Harley-Davidson Germany and Austria, „Authenticity, enthusiasm for the brand and emotional and social intelligence are just as important.“ This includes a fundamentally open, appreciative and friendly attitude towards the customer that sends out a signal: Everyone is welcome here! „Satisfied customers are the figurehead of a company,“ adds Schimossek, „they become repeat customers and recommend a company to others.“
