Review - 15th anniversary and season opening Harley-Davidson Dresden 2023

With Harley-Davidson Dresden there was plenty to celebrate in the capital of the Free State of Saxony. The anniversary was celebrated on a small scale on Friday and Harley-Davidson honored it with an appropriate appearance by personalities from the management level.

Kolja Rebstock Regional Vice President EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa) and Managing Director of the DACH region (Germany, Austria and Switzerland), Frank Schimossek Country Manager Germany & Austria and Thomas Bandemer District Managers were represented. Kolja Rebstock paid tribute in his speech to the achievements of Sibylle Thomas-Göbelbecker and the strong team behind her. Following the speech, Kolja Rebstock presented her with a specially made anniversary sign and congratulations from the company.

Sibylle Thomas-Göbelbecker reminisced in her speech about how it all began. It was more of a coincidence that started in the associated high-end car dealership when she was asked if she would like to open a Harley-Davidson dealership. After her husband Gerd Göbelbecker was quickly convinced of the idea, things got underway. Gerd Göbelbecker has his own business area in which he works and supports his enterprising wife in the background, whereby he is particularly involved when it comes to the Harley-Davidson Owners Group chapters connected to the stores.

As a result, 15 years later there are a total of three large Harley-Davidson stores in Saxony. In addition to the Dresden location, Leipzig and Chemnitz are also among them, not forgetting that over the years they have been able to establish one of the largest online stores for Harley-Davidson accessories in the country.
