Harley-Davidson confirms continuation of plans for European Bike Week in September 2021

NEU-ISENBURG (16.06.2021) - After the Austrian government recently announced further easing of the nationwide corona measures, Harley-Davidson assumes that the European Bike Week in Faak am See will take place again this year - from September 7 to 12.

Thanks to the continuous decline in the number of cases, the pandemic-related restrictions in Austria were gradually eased in May. The easing of restrictions planned for June was ultimately even brought forward by a week - in line with Chancellor Sebastian Kurz's promise that the country would return to „normality, freedom and normal life“ as quickly as possible.

Kolja Rebstock, Harley-Davidson Regional Vice President, Managing Director EMEA and Managing Director DACH, adds: „I am thrilled that the European Bike Week can take place this year and would like to thank everyone in our team and our local partners who make the event possible in the first place. And last but not least, of course, to all the Harley riders - without them, European Bike Week would not have been such a success. Events like these define our lifestyle and our identity - and that's why we can't wait for European Bike Week to start on September 7th.“

Harley-Davidson is aware of its responsibility to employees and fans of the brand and will therefore pay close attention to whether assembly or travel restrictions are again imposed in Austria or the surrounding countries and will adapt the event format accordingly if necessary. At the same time, the Harley-Davidson Motor Company is doing everything in its power to ensure that events centered around the passion for motorcycling can take place again as soon as possible. Further information on European Bike Week 2021 will be announced shortly.
