Harley & Snow in South Tyrol is postponed until 2024!
We are currently looking for a new event location for 2024!
The first sad event report this year comes from South Tyrol, the organizer is forced to cancel the great event this year too. We have received the following information!
As almost expected, we have to say goodbye to the Harley & Snow Event 2023. Although we have an extensive green concept, we were not able to convince on the possible mountain slopes.
Costs of €35,000 for technology, advertising, slope preparation and much more require a certain degree of planning security. The risk is currently too high to record losses again! Despite everything, we are still trying very hard to organize Harley & Snow 2024 somewhere else.
If you happen to have a ski slope where we can hold the 2023/2024 event, please get in touch. The event has a very wide reach thanks to its large media presence.
So keep your fingers crossed for the end of 2023, spring 2024.
Unfortunately, we have to inform you that there will no longer be an opportunity to hold a Harley&Snow in Ridnaun.
We as the OK team have even managed to create a “green concept” and will also implement this at other EVENTS.
I would personally like to thank all the clubs, all the hotels, guesthouses, holiday apartments, the TVB, the mayor, even the youth of Ridnaun and everyone involved who tried everything not to lose the event.
Thank you all for your commitment!!!
But unfortunately there is always someone who is against it and so we all have to bow and give in to the “power word”.
We wanted to prove that we also stand by our word.
We wanted to implement a new sustainable concept.
But unfortunately none of this has any value...
It's a real shame considering what happened to the event! What it has brought to the clubs and tourism. The media value and TV broadcasts for this were terrific!

CANCELLED! Harley and Snow will not take place in 2020 due to the Corona virus!
Shock in South Tyrol! Due to the current situation regarding the Corona virus and the corresponding regulation, the organizer unfortunately has to cancel the Harley & Snow 2020 event. Civil defense has banned them from carrying out the work.
THE CORONA VIRUS STOPS THE HARLEY & SNOW EVENT 2020 IN SOUTH TYROL
This morning the news came from South Tyrol that the civil defense had banned the event. Months of preparation are now gone, a very hard decision for the organizer and also the participants. This year Harley & Snow was supposed to take place at a new location in Vals, the Gitchberg Jochtal ski area. There was great joy and the only other enemy was the snow, which we could face, but an official ban due to a virus is unfortunately something different and serves to protect the visitors.
Let's hope that the extraordinary event will be held again next year!

Hello everyone!!!
Due to the current situation and the total hysteria caused by the Corona virus, CIVIL PROTECTION has BANNED us from the Harley&Snow Event 2020!
We tried everything, even making the event a little smaller in order to be able to comply with the prescribed measures, but unfortunately without success!
The loss of all previous costs is enormous, not to mention all the preparatory work and especially the planning of the new location, and then a week before this total collapse of the entire nation. Because of the CORONA virus / flu infection / cold or whatever!!!!!
In order to cover a small part of the expenses, there will be a limited edition of Harley&Snow shirts ! “Cancelled by Corona Virus!” If you are interested in buying, please let us know. We would be happy to do so. The entry fees already paid will of course be transferred back or invested as credit for Harley&Snow 2021. Please let me know how you want it.
The Harley&Snow Lottery raffle will take place at our Open Day, EXPECTEDLY 28.-29. March, will take place!!! A big THANK YOU to each and every one of you!!!!

Information about the situation in South Tyrol
The organizer of Harley & Snow has no influence on the cancellation of the event. According to the Robert Koch Institute, there is an increased number of corona infections in the South Tyrol region. A hard blow for the organizer, it is difficult to judge whether this is an exaggerated action, but everyone would have liked to have made the decision themselves, considering that it is predominantly an open air event. CORONA VIRUS – In 2020, Harley and Snow will take place in Vals – Gitschberg Jochtal / South Tyrol.

It is a beautiful ski area in South Tyrol that Harley-Davidson Bolzano invites you to visit in the Harley pre-season. And while we hope that it will be warmer and free of snow, the organizer is hoping for plenty of snow in the mountains of South Tyrol so that the fun will be really fun.
Because the snow is needed, without it it wouldn't be half as much fun. It is one of the most extraordinary Harley events ever when it comes to riding up the ski slopes in March with a Harley that has been specially converted for the mountains. It's not enough to just finish at the top, only whoever is the fastest in their class wins the big trophy.
Everybody can participate
Anyone who is up for it can take part with their Harley prepared for the slopes if they register in time. No license or special hill climbing proof is required. The starting order is drawn and everyone has the same opportunity to win the trophy.
However, you have to put in the work, it's not as easy as you think! Well-known customizers have already built the hottest bikes here exclusively for the race, the company itself has also been there, it's really a challenge with addictive potential for the really crazy Harley mechanic.
What was initially intended as fun can quickly release unexpected ideas and strengths. If you've been tinkering around for weeks and have screwed every single spike into the tire, you want to win at some point.

Cancelled! Harley and Snow 2020 will not take place this year due to the Corona virus.
The event has grown every year and the entertainment program is usually local so as not to lose proximity to the region, there is always a high number of celebrities at the Harley and Snow event. Whether it's the presenters or autograph sessions for which Paul Teutul Sr. and Mikey have already been flown in from the USA.
Or motorsport legend Walter Röhrl , these are just a few names, because something special, such as a Harley raffle, is always offered to visitors.
2020 at a new location
from March 13th to 15th, 2020 in the Vals – Gitschberg Jochtal ski area, which is a location with new challenges. A new ski slope is waiting for the riders, everyone has the same and new requirements to be the fastest to reach the top when hill climbing on a bike.
The new location is well suited for a few extended vacation days
The Gitschberg Jochtal offers great opportunities especially for skiers, there are 55 kilometers of slopes at altitudes of 1,400 to 2,500 meters with guaranteed snow, and even a view of the Dolomites is possible when the weather is good. For the experts, there are 10 blue slopes, 9 red slopes, 4 black slopes in this region. 3 viewing platforms with breathtaking panoramic views of over 500 peaks and mountains.
Plus cross-country skiing, tobogganing and hiking, there are 22 rustic mountain huts with specialties and traditional dishes, where you can definitely unwind.

The Jochtal mountain restaurant is one of the hearty restaurants in the mountains that might be worth a visit; in 2016 it was awarded the title “SOUTH TYROL’S MOST BEAUTIFUL SKI HUT”.
