Motorcycle show Oldenburg 2025 with Harley-Davidson highlights and innovations
Harley-Davidson Weser-Ems and Harley-Davidson Bremen provide information about the Oldenburg motorcycle show on the 15th and 16th. February 2025 in the Weser-Ems Hall.
These new Harley-Davidson models 2025 will be presented at the Oldenburg motorcycle show!
Street Bob / Iron Horse Metallic, Pan America St / Billiard Gray, CVO Road Glide / Raven Fade, CVO Street Glide / Blue Streak.
We're at it again
“We're at it again,” beams Klaus Börjes from Harley-Davidson and, together with his team from Harley Davidson Weser-Ems from the Augustfehn location and Harley-Davidson Bremen from the Stuhr location, he is looking forward to presenting the new products to visitors to the Oldenburg motorcycle fair with an exclusive stand to be able to present the 2025 model year up close.
“The guests at the trade fair can look forward to one thing,” reveals Klaus Börjes:
“The guests at the trade fair can look forward to one thing,” reveals Klaus Börjes: we will be there on the 15th and 16th. February will present the first new models of the new model year 2025. These include a brand new PanAmerica and the PanAmerica CVO from the Adventure Touring series. This model series will particularly appeal to lovers of serpentines and off-road trips. The unique design stands out very positively in the competition from adventure touring brands from other manufacturers.
A completely redesigned Softail Street Bob is presented to the interested audience. A strictly limited CVO Touring will also be presented. In addition, many other bikes from the Softail and Touring series will also be there. The Börjes American Bikes team will be available to answer any questions and provide comprehensive advice. All visitors can not only marvel at their dream bike, but also get on it for a test ride and get up close and personal with their potentially new bike. Because the Börjes team wants to make sure that the ergonomics between body and bike fit perfectly. If necessary, conversion options for the handlebars, seat or design will be discussed immediately.
Moments of surprise
For female fans of cruising and biking, the “Ladies Approved Concept” will be implemented at the stand. The Harleys, which are particularly valued by women, are specially marked. They provide the ladies with maximum driving comfort and safety when they hit the asphalt on long summer trips. Get on, try out and let yourself be enchanted, but also pulled onto the track - that's the motto, and not just for the ladies.
Returning to the motorcycle hobby
A visit to the Oldenburg motorcycle fair is also worthwhile for those returning to the sport. Anyone who hasn't ridden for a long time will find a large selection of motorcycles at the motorcycle fair. Klaus Börjes is pleased: “Motorcycle fans who want more freedom after raising children, building a house or having a career are cordially invited to find inspiration in the Harley-Davidson brand world. There are not only great motorcycles here, but also a new attitude to life in a unique community.
Customizing and individualization
This year, the topic of customizing will once again give visitors a look at the variety of options for customizing your own bike. Based on new machines, the Börjes customizers demonstrate the versatility of this model series on the Harley-Davidson Softail models Fat Boy 114, Heritage 114, Breakout 114 and Street Bob 114. “We customized these bikes especially for the trade fair and gave them a unique, cool character that will later attract attention on the road. “We can be amazed again,” reports Klaus Börjes about the customizing know-how of the Börjes team in both Harley-Davidson locations.
keep cool with Crissie's barbershop
Like James Dean once did with pomade in his hair and a trendy rockabilly style hairstyle or with a classic biker hairstyle or a well-groomed biker beard from Chrissie's barbershop, men and women feel much cooler in the biker community. Chrissi's barbershop will be able to prove itself directly at the motorcycle show. In addition to the entire spectrum of hairdressing art, you can expect a wonderful feel-good atmosphere at the trade fair stand. Here you can do your hair, blow-dry, shave and comb your hair as much as you can. Take the opportunity to give yourself a new cut at the trade fair.
Matching this is a pair of “chopper glasses ” from optician Jörg Schwarz from Oldenburg, who, in cooperation with Harley-Davidson Weser-Ems, also individualizes the cool (view) view when there is a wind in the air and a low sun. Jörg will demonstrate his know-how at the motorcycle trade fair.
I'm currently traveling for you at the Custombike Show 2024 in Bad Salzuflen. The trade fair construction is in full swing and I already have the first pictures of the spectacular bikes, creative conversions and exciting highlights for you!
I was there this evening and there are at least 200 bikes in the bike show. I haven't counted them, but there are really a lot of them. It's really amazing how many of you flew in to be there with your bikes. And what beautiful devices there are!
Then there are all the exhibitor bikes. I'm excited to see how the trade fair is received by the public this year. In any case, in addition to the 1,000 bikes, there are a lot of good stands. You already got the impression when the hall plans with the exhibitors went online.
It feels like it's going to be a pretty awesome weekend, I'm looking forward to hearing your opinion, which I'll definitely read on Facebook or Instagram! See you!

Messe Erfurt will be the organizer of the Erfurt automobile fair and the Erfurt motorcycle fair
Successful future of trade fairs in the Thuringian state capital secured
Cooperation agreed with the previous organizer
(Erfurt, July 9, 2024) Messe Erfurt GmbH will be the new organizer of the Erfurt automobile fair (AME) and the Erfurt motorcycle fair (MME) from 2025. By taking over the two events, Messe Erfurt is not only securing two trade fairs that are very well positioned in Central Germany and are growing again after the Corona pandemic, but is also expanding its expertise in organizing and executing B2C trade fairs by acquiring the largest regional car trade fair Germany and one of the leading motorcycle trade fairs in Central Germany.
“It is with great pride and confidence that we are handing over the Erfurt automobile fair and the Erfurt motorcycle fair into the hands of Messe Erfurt GmbH after 16 and 24 years of successful joint development. This step is a strategic decision for the future of these two important events,” says Matthias Andrzejak, Managing Director of SP Veranstaltungs- und Handels GmbH and previous organizer of the two trade fairs. He also adds: “Under the direction of Messe Erfurt GmbH, we jointly expect further development and sustainable expansion.
The bundling of skills and know-how will create new synergies and raise the trade fairs to an even higher level. We see enormous potential, particularly in collaboration with industry and manufacturers. I look forward to continuing to work closely with the dedicated team at Messe Erfurt GmbH. The contract concluded for the common path is a sign of our trust and our shared vision for the future of these successful trade fairs.”
The AME and MME remained on the road to success even after their forced break due to the corona pandemic and recorded new record numbers in both exhibitor and visitor response in 2023 and 2024.
With 29,500 visitorsto its 16th edition in 2024, the Erfurt automobile trade fair was able the number of visitors compared to the previous year and show that in times of cancellations of various trade fairs and uncertainty in the industry, automobile trade fairs have their place. It was able to consolidate its position as Central Germany's most important and largest trade fair for mobility, automobiles and tuning.
The AME was the only major automobile trade fair in Germany this year. This is also underlined by the trade fair's large catchment area. Due to the excellent transport connections from Erfurt in the heart of Germany, some of the trade fair guests came to the Erfurt exhibition center from more than 250 km away.
A record of 37 automobile brands and over 130 exhibitors on over 30,000 square meters, numerous trade fair premieres , the most important brand dealers in one place and an attractive supporting and show program with many highlights were the key to success. The 16th Erfurt Motor Show 2024 was the ideal platform to find out about future topics and developments in mobility, electromobility and concepts for the smart city of the future.
The two-wheeler market continues to grow. This was impressively demonstrated by the 24th Erfurt motorcycle trade fair in March this year. Last year's visitor record was narrowly missed with around 20,000 visitors in 2024. Nevertheless, the MME also had a positive impact on the coming two-wheel season this year. Almost 30 brand exhibitors from the motorcycle, scooter, quad and trike sectorsnew products and model premieres on 18,000 square meters of exhibition space in the halls and on the outdoor area .
This year, the MME once again brought together the largest and best-known brand dealers, accessories suppliers, conversion specialists, technology providers, clothing specialists and service providers from the region, who presented their new vehicles, top models and their extensive product range. An attractive supporting and show program with many highlights and spectacular stunt shows offered lots of fun and action for the whole family.
With the takeover of the two trade fairs by Messe Erfurt, the future of the events at the Erfurt location will be secured in the long term. Both partners will continue to work closely together in the future to ensure the quality and success of the trade fairs. By bundling competencies and using synergies, AME and MME can be positioned even more successfully on the market in the coming years, the managing director of Messe Erfurt, Michael Kynast, is firmly convinced of this. “The Erfurt automobile fair and the Erfurt motorcycle fair are events with a long tradition and great importance for the region.
We are very pleased about the trust that has been placed in us and see great potential in the further development of these trade fairs. Our goal is to offer participants and visitors an even more comprehensive trade fair experience, to further increase the attractiveness of the trade fairs and thus to demonstrate the continued special fascination of automobiles and two-wheelers every year," continues trade fair managing director Kynast .
The Erfurt automobile fair will take place from January 24th to 26th, 2025 and the Erfurt motorcycle fair from March 22nd to 23rd, 2025 at the Erfurt trade fair. CORONAVIRUS CURRENTLY – CAN I STILL RIDE A MOTORCYCLE?
Coronavirus – Current situation and further information about Harley-Davidson and what is still possible or not!
MOTORCYCLES DORTMUND 2024 155
Due to the current situation, this post will be regularly updated with new information about everything Harley-Davidson!
It is currently becoming apparent that the Corona virus is spreading and we have to be prepared for everything possible. For some events it is still too early to make a clear statement, others have already been affected, or the situation is currently uncertain.
MESSAGE FROM SATURDAY April 4th, 2020
Motorcycling is not forbidden everywhere, as long as it is not a motorcycle trip.
Can I still ride a motorcycle is currently one of the most discussed topics on social media. The most important thing is that before you set off on a motorcycle for a tourist event or for leisure purposes, you should inform yourself about your area. You can find the current status of the situation on the social media platforms of the respective police districts in your region.
The regulations in Bavaria and Saxony are strict!
The situation is more severe in Bavaria and Saxony, where there is an exit restriction. As a means of transport it is equivalent to a car, although motorcycle trips are prohibited in Bavaria. The police will check it and, depending on what they see, act accordingly.
In Schleswig-Holstein, for example, there is an entry ban; anyone who wants to come to the country for tourism or leisure purposes may be stopped. For Schleswig-Holsteiners, motorcycling is permitted, but common sense is urged not to do so.
Post by the Kiel Police from April 3rd, 2020 on Facebook This also applies to motorcyclists who can move alone on the streets without having contact with other people, but should avoid leisure trips out of solidarity and consideration. It is not forbidden to ride a motorcycle alone - even in times of Corona. The start of the motorcycle season should still be postponed in order to continue to minimize the risk of infection and to avoid accidents and associated operations. Link on Facebook
Avoid motorcycle meeting places!
You should especially avoid stopping at regional motorcycle meeting points. At some meeting points you will find restaurants where you usually get your coffee. The problem is, if there are gatherings at these places, the authorities will take action and control them, if necessary blocking the parking spaces completely. That might be even worse for your meeting place than missing out on Sunday's income for a few weeks.
Harley-Davidson parade in Travemünde
If you ride a motorcycle alone, it's not the problem, it only becomes complicated when you're in a group. Anyone who rides their bike to work, goes shopping, or wants to take it to the workshop will be able to do that. The Harley-Davidson workshops are also accessible and continue to work.
Conclusion: Driving is possible, but you should avoid going on excursions! All you can do is appeal to common sense, how quickly do you pull your glove under your snotty nose and then maybe grab the gas pump at the gas station , the next person can become infected, or even yourself if things go the other way around!
Stay healthy and use restraint to help the spit disappear as quickly as possible!
In Hamburg we are waiting to see further developments, but there are various scenarios if the pandemic restrictions continue in this form until the end of June. The health of everyone involved comes first and to ensure this, the first alternative would be to postpone the date. In Hamburg, this was something that had to be done out of necessity years ago. It may be a logistical challenge, but a cancellation of the internationally popular event would be another hard blow to the Harley scene. In Hamburg they are counting on time; they will be able to better assess the situation by mid-April.
The Sylt Chapter has updated its information about the Summertime Party. We will wait until April/mid-April to see the situation before making a decision. Registration for the event is already closed. The watchword is to wait and keep calm!

The organizer FH-DCE Super Rally® 2020 has decided to do this, extensive restrictions due to the coronavirus forced them to make the decision in order not to further support the spread of the coronavirus. The economic risk for the organizer should certainly not have been underestimated. Mini Super Rally is being discussed as an alternative!
Harley-Davidson dealers are temporarily closing their stores
In Germany someHarley-Davidson dealers to close their public business premises The workshops, however, continue to work as normal. This does not affect mail order at the moment, so if you want to do some screwing in the meantime, you should do it online or call the dealer beforehand.
n't been a consistent vote yet , so it's best to check your dealer's website before you go there. You will also get your questions answered by phone during business hours and they will continue to work on the bikes as long as the employees are responsible for it.
So far there are no further decisions about the big Harley-Davidson events, we still have to wait and see. The current event ban applies until April 19, 2020, and no further decision is expected before this date. The situation will then be reassessed, for example on Sylt the island is still closed. As soon as the situation with the virus is defused again, the situation will change again.
Magic Bike Week, for example, will not make a decision before April 19th, other organizers see it similarly. The coronavirus will peak at some point, and once that is over, the situation will quickly return to normal! That's why it's even more important not to ride a motorcycle for the next 14 days and, in the interest of everyone, to stick to the general advice.

MESSAGE FROM SUNDAY March 15, 2020
The islands to the north are now what they are, an island.
Now the reports are coming in quick succession. The islands in Schleswig Holstein will be cordoned off from 6:00 a.m. on Monday morning. The border with Denmark is closed to tourist traffic on both sides. We haven't experienced anything like this before, we can only keep our fingers crossed that the horror will be over in four weeks at the latest. If it stays like this for longer, things will be tight for the Super Rally and the Summertime Party.
Let's stick to the simplest rules and stay at home for now!
MESSAGE FROM SUNDAY March 15, 2020
UPDATE ON LOCATION AND RECOMMENDATION
In Schleswig-Holstein, all events were banned from Sunday and Sylt is well known in Schleswig-Holstein . However, there is still some time until Pentecost. Just keep calm and wait a while. If you don't have a free cancellation option for your accommodation, you should probably talk to your accommodation and see how they handle it. It's a special situation and panicking doesn't help at all. By mid-April the world could look completely different again. Think positive and keep calm! Best time to clean the Harley in peace.
MESSAGE FROM SATURDAY March 14, 2020
Update on the Super Rally
UPDATE SA. March 14, 2020
DENMARK CLOSES THE BORDER
Denmark closed its borders on March 14th. Closed in 2020, that was already to be expected.
The situation will not ease before mid-April. Denmark generally takes its border protection very seriously and is a transit country on the way to the Super Rally. Recommendation is to wait and see! In contrast to Italy, we are about 10 days behind in the north and can hope that towards the end, the further north you are, the situation will not be so extreme.
CORONA CURRENT – SUPER RALLY – DENMARK CLOSES THE BORDERS
NOTIFICATION FROM FRIDAY 03/13/2020
Summertime Party Sylt 2020
In Schleswig-Holstein, events with more than 1,000 people are now prohibited until April 10th. This would not affect the Summertime Party so far. The organizer is in close contact with the authorities; at the moment it looks like the situation will be reassessed from April 10th.
MESSAGEFROM THURSDAY03/12/2020
Summertime Party Sylt 2020
The Summertime Party will take place on the island of Sylt from June 5th to 7th. The problem with this event would be Friday, when there is a celebration in the Kursaal. The event on Friday in the Kursaal is currently sold out; the restrictions currently apply to groups of 1,000 people or more. Registration for the party has already closed and far fewer than 1,000 guests are expected at the event.
As things stand today, the situation is as follows:
The organizer contacted the Harleysite today and announced that the event should take place as planned. If the situation worsens, information will be provided immediately!
NOTIFICATION FROM March 12, 2020
SUPER RALLY 2020 SWEDEN
The Super Rally is shaking!
The Super Rally is scheduled to take place in Öland Sweden from May 27th to 31st, 2020. Yesterday (March 12th, 2020) the Swedish government issued a regulation banning public gatherings and events until further notice. But that doesn't mean that the event in May has been canceled; the organizer has announced that the regulation can be withdrawn as soon as the situation calms down again.
It is recommended to wait for the next 14 days to see how the situation with the coronavirus develops.
There is a particular question of what happens in Denmark, it would be the transit country for the Super Rally, the borders there are closing very quickly, if the Danes are afraid for their citizens, the bar will fall. It's easier to get into Germany than out. So wait and see!
NOTIFICATION FROM March 12, 2020
Euro Festival Saint Tropez 2020
The situation is similar in France, where public events larger than 5,000 people have been banned. Euro Festival 2020 would also be affected by this at this point in time.
It's also the case here so far that we still have to wait and see, there is no official cancellation of the event, so from that perspective the event is a little different, if you were to leave out the big stage on the beach, you would actually be on a large holiday resort with accommodations.
Harley-Davidson has informed me that if there are any changes, information will be provided immediately. Also wait and see what comes!
NOTIFICATION FROM MARCH 6, 2020
Harley & Snow in South Tyrol
Harley & Snow has already been hit, the area has been declared a complete risk area, and the organizer was banned from holding the party a week before the start.
As soon as there is further information, we will keep you updated!
All information is provided without guarantee of accuracy!
MOTORCYCLE SHOW on February 3rd and 4th in Oldenburg
The short days of the cold season hurt every biker. Quickly putting on the gear in the evening and clearing your head on two wheels - that often falls through due to the weather. Dark clouds alone are not a threat. A ride in the snow, however, makes the driver's heart freeze faster.
So it's good when the days slowly get longer again, the first rays of sunshine tickle your skin and you can ring in the new season together with like-minded people at the MOTORRAD SHOW 2024 in Oldenburg. This coming weekend, those interested will once again have the opportunity to meet the region's established dealers, who will be stocking their stands with the latest models, lots of equipment, accessories and other gimmicks. The trade fair's offerings are rounded off by Mike Auffenberg's legendary stunt show, a wheelie simulator and the second edition of the MOTORRAD SHOW custom bike contest. The Custom Moped Contest, launched in collaboration with the Moped Drag Race Team, is also celebrating its premiere.
Paint and chalk
If you want to start the season at full throttle and with a new machine after the winter, you will find many new models from Honda authorized dealer Motorrad Huchting Bremen at the MOTORRAD SHOW 2024. “In addition to the Honda Babyfireblade CBR 500 R Model 24 and the Honda CBR 650 R,” reveals Nico Gerull, Managing Director of Honda Motorrad Huchting Bremen, “there will be a special highlight that visitors to the motorcycle trade fair in the Weser-Ems-Hallen are looking forward to Oldenburg can be happy.”
“The individual conversion of a Honda CB 1000 R (MH 1000 R) shines particularly thanks to the original Porsche paint in the color chalk. A drive through Bremen traffic at dusk brought me to a stop next to a Porsche with this unique paint job. After congratulating the driver on this great car, I learned about the uniquely beautiful color, which laid the foundation for the idea for the individual model of the Honda CB 1000 R (MH 1000 R). I’m excited to see what visitors to the trade fair say about it,” says Nico Gerull happily.
Speaking of paint: As the best-selling scooter, the 2024 SH 125 i model from Honda surprises in vetro green - a very special paint finish that is a feast for the eyes with its green-transparent color image. “This color has never existed before,” beams Nico Gerull.
PS sweets and highlights
Honda fanatics of the well-known 750 Hornet can look forward to possibly another motorcycle treat. The bike is being converted with great attention to detail by the team at Honda dealer Motorrad Huchting Bremen and is intended to be a stylish companion to this year's MOTORRAD SHOW in Oldenburg. And if the 750 Hornet misses its appearance, it will present its splendor at the company's 30th anniversary this year at the latest.
The team around Nico Gerull from Honda authorized dealer Motorrad Huchting Bremen invites everyone interested in two-wheelers to try out the models they brought with them at the 2024 motorcycle show. Visitors will once again be treated to an impressive offering from Honda. Even younger drivers aged 16 and over or owners of a class A1 or B196 driving license will find the Honda CB 125 R with 125 cc displacement just the right machine to get started.
And there are also suitable enduro bikes for travel enthusiasts. The lightweight models of the Honda Africa Twin with a DCT dual clutch transmission (automatic) and the Honda Transall, as one of the best-selling motorcycles in Germany, offer beginners and novice drivers the ideal driving experience for longer distances.
By the way: To do something good for your own bike over the winter months, you can use the winterization service at the Honda authorized dealer Motorrad Huchting Bremen.
True passion
The passion for the Honda brand cannot be ignored in the conversation with Nico Gerull. As a true fan of motorcycling legend and world champion Nicky Hayden, his passion for riding his own motorcycle was sparked in 2009. “Motorcycling literally blew me away,” says Nico Gerull, who has never forgotten his first climb on a Honda CBR 600 R.
He started as a salesman at Motorrad Huchting Bremen in 2011 and took over the management during Corona times. A difficult time, but one he never regretted. According to the motto “if you don't dare, you don't win”, he continued to run the business with a lot of horsepower and his heart in the right place. “I enjoy my job the most and it gives me the greatest joy,” says Nico Gerull, beaming.
Mud lover and adventurer
Long-established motorcycle dealers should also not be missing from the MOTORRAD SHOW 2024: For example, with the motorcycles from H. Freese GmbH from Westerstede, the trade fair in the Weser-Ems-Hallen Oldenburg will be expanded with a representative product range of high-class bikes from BMW Motorrad. For mud lovers and adventurers, the new R 1300 GS, available in four different model variants, is exactly the right bike to explore the versatility of motorcycling off the beaten track at full speed. With ease and driving pleasure, every route becomes a special kind of driving experience.
On the tracks of Africa
Try out the sporty driving fun with the new R 1300 GS with 145 hp directly on unknown terrain. If the blood in your veins can't pulsate fast enough, you can go on the Int's Follow The Trails tours. GS Trophy 2024 in Namibia is in the right place. You can book a 6-day driving experience through BMW Freese that will make the discovering hearts of the motorcycle heroes beat faster. Experienced drivers can test their own skills on the secret routes through gorges, riverbeds and Africa's incomparably beautiful landscape.
Feeling of well-being at the touch of a button
The sky is the limit when it comes to customizing this bike. For example, if you want to create a unique piece from your own R18, the BMW Freese team in Westerstede is the right place for you. “Customer satisfaction and the implementation of customer wishes are our top priority,” says branch manager Arno Simon. “Our customers should identify with their bike right from the start and experience a pure feeling of well-being on their BMW the first time they press the start button.”
BMW Motorrad Freese from Westerstede has many more models in store for visitors to the MOTORRAD SHOW 2024. From sport to heritage to tourer. Surprises and new discoveries are inevitable. If you are still missing the right outfit, you can get advice about the right driver equipment at the BMW Freese stand.
All in all, a well-rounded program that visitors to the trade fair can look forward to. It is open on Saturday and Sunday from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Holders of a ticket purchased in advance online from Nordwest-Ticket can get into the halls more quickly at the entrance via the Fastlane. Visitors pay EUR 10.00 both online and at the box office; Children up to 14 years of age have free entry when accompanied by an adult.
Further information about the trade fair is available at www.motorradshow-oldenburg.de as well as on Facebook and Instagram.
Then a visit to the MOTORRAD SHOW 2024 on February 3rd and 4th in the Weser-Ems-Hallen Oldenburg is exactly the right place to find them. Shiny chrome, satin matt, with a lot of horsepower or less temperament - the MOTORRAD SHOW in Oldenburg offers the right passion for every biker.
For the 26th time, there are more than 35 exhibitors, including established names such as Börjes American Bikes - Harley-Davidson Bremen and Weser-Ems, Kawasaki / Ducati Schlickel, Motorrad Huchting Honda, BMW Freese and many others in the Weser-Ems halls Oldenburg. From rocking, relaxed to carefree – the trade fair once again offers motorcycle fans big and small a wide range of new products and real highlights that will awaken the passion for riding unbridled. Lovers of the two-stroke engine don't miss out either. The Moped Drag Race Team Jaderberg presents bright ideas and innovations.
Motorcycle Show 2024 Oldenburg 161
Peace-loving biker soul
Motorcycling is the wildest form of a peace-loving biker's soul. Klaus Börjes also knows how to emphasize this. “In times of all restrictions, the riding experience with the bike is even more important. Riding a motorcycle clears your head,” he enthuses as one of the managing directors of Börjes GmbH and Börjes GmbH & Co. KG, which once again offers a variety of great machines, services and products Harley-Davidson Bremen and Harley-Davidson Weser-Ems present.
Miles don't matter, moments do
“It doesn’t matter how many kilometers you drive with your HD, but rather what you experience with it.” Driving experience and feeling of well-being across the entire width of the road – “that’s how we love Harley-Davidson, riding into the sunset, with the wind blowing around your nose Let yourself be one with the bike”. This is Klaus Börjes’ top priority. You get real goosebumps just by imagining it.
Harley-Davidson will once again be presenting many new models in 2024 that fans of chrome, shine and powerful engines can look forward to. Klaus Börjes is not yet revealing which models will be shown at the trade fair. But one thing is clear: “Disappointments are, as always, out of the question.”
The team around Klaus Börjes shows and presents the complete Harley-Davidson model range. Test sitting and touching are absolutely permitted. In addition to various crossover models, there are also certain models that are particularly popular with newcomers and newcomers. Anyone who used to enjoy sitting in the back seat will take the main seat at the MOTORRAD SHOW and can feel how nice the seat in the front row is.
The bikes marked as “Ladies approved” allow women to find the perfect model for themselves. From ergonomics to handling – the perfect symbiosis between biker and machine makes the riding experience something very special.
Unchain the power
Unleash the power - that's the motto for everyone who wants a little more. With tailor-made engine tuning and software mapping, the Börjes Tuning Center presents the immeasurable possibilities of getting even more out of your own machine. Precise programming on request and advice from the customer is the top priority for the Börjes Tuning Center team. “Harleys are all about torque. A tuned, enormous power and power in the lower speed range that you can feel when accelerating. “It tingles so beautifully,” says Klaus Börjes happily.
MOTORCYCLE SHOW OLDENBURG
Three very special guys
Customizing fans will get their money's worth again this year. The Börjes customizing team has once again designed three unique HD items especially for the MOTORRAD SHOW, which cannot be found anywhere in the world due to their individual style. The HD models Softail Standard, Softail Low Rider ST and Street Bob make every biker's heart beat faster with their elegant paintwork, special accessories and other modifications. You will bring a bike in club style (for the young wild ones), bobber style (for fans of classic music) and chopper style (easy riders). Wishes are there to be fulfilled. Anyone who would like to realize their dream of owning their own personal, distinctive custom bike has the opportunity to purchase one of the three dream bikes or have one built for them.
Meet me
If you're still missing that last, crucial bit when it comes to buying your own Harley-Davidson, motorcycle rental at the locations in Bremen and Augustfehn can help. With a rental fleet of 25 Harley-Davidsons, you can gain further conviction for a weekend or the entire vacation. “Where else can you have such a long test drive before the final 'yes',” says Klaus Börjes, emphasizing the prospective buyer's simplified decision.
Tri(ke) me
If traveling on three wheels seems safer than on two, you can sit directly on the HD trike TriGlide Ultra 114 at the MOTORRAD SHOW. In addition to the three wheels, another convincing argument is the driver's license, which is only required for the car. “Freedom for all” – that was Harley-Davidson’s guiding principle. This also includes the freedom to decide whether you want to travel on two or three wheels.
Who has the choice
Kawasaki and Ducati fans can look forward to the latest models from Motorradhandel Schlickel, which has been based in Oldenburg as an authorized dealer for over 40 years and has also been a Ducati dealer since 2009 and will be at the MOTORRAD SHOW again this year .
Motorrad Schlickel has many loyal customers from the far north up to the East Frisian Islands. The team takes care of all motorcycle-related matters in the master workshop. “The performance for our customers in our workshop is very important to us. We are open to brands,” emphasizes Thomas Rüscher.
In addition to the workshop, Schlickel also offers the opportunity to find the right counterpart for you from 20 rental motorcycles from March to August. Getting to know the feeling of freedom is possible for the rental price.
“For many people, switching to a motorcycle is also an opportunity for private transport. A bike is small, handy, economical and does not require large parking spaces,” says Thomas Rüscher. “In addition, with any motorcycle you can reach your destination faster than with a standard car.” So there are many arguments in favor of buying a machine, in addition to the incomparable feeling of freedom and driving experience.
MOTORCYCLE SHOW OLDENBURG (Oldb)
Sport, sporty, ninja
In 2024 the Kawasaki Ninja will celebrate its 40th birthday. As a true sports model, the Ninja stands for state-of-the-art technology and an unconditional commitment to top performance. Looking back on the great success story, Kawasaki is presenting its three 40th anniversary models in an anniversary version: Ninja ZX-4RR, Ninja ZX-6R and Ninja ZX-10R.
Pure and light
Ducati will release the Hypermotard 698 Mono model in 2024, which will be very interesting, especially for young people. A first-class vehicle, very sporty and almost unbeatable in terms of price-performance ratio. The first road-going single-cylinder supermotard from Ducati was born into motorcycling life with only one goal: to arouse pure enthusiasm and shake up the scene with an impression. The puristically light and maneuverable bike is simply fun.
77.5 hp and 659 cc displacement paired with a very effective interaction of steering geometry and wheelbase, low inertia of the front wheel and a weight distribution that is more front-wheel-heavy compared to other motorcycles in the segment bring driving pleasure at its best.
Already cruised today?
The Eliminator 500 from Kawasaki shines as another star in the motorcycle sky. A bike that is particularly fun to ride, especially for smaller people, women and those who are new to cycling, not least because of its easy handling. The look alone impresses with a silky-smooth and supple top design with a low, comfortable seat. The Eliminator is one of Kawasaki's best cruisers to date, coming onto the market in 2024.
Racetrack training in Oschersleben
If you can't ride a motorcycle fast enough, you shouldn't miss the time to register for a racing event in Oschersleben, which Motorradhandel Schlickel offers its customers every year. Once infected, you are not protected from repeat offenses. “Everyone who has ever been there is completely thrilled. “Eating, drinking and having fun together over two days” is what characterizes the racing event, says Thomas Rüscher, himself an enthusiastic Ducati driver. The event is not for new drivers, he points out. The racetrack training is completed freely in a group or with instructions. The next date is expected to be in August.
Motorcycle trade Schlickel has many highlights in its luggage. Visitors can be excited to see which models will be on display at the MOTORRAD SHOW. This much is certain: the range is wide again.
Custom bike contest goes into the next round
No matter whether it's a café racer, bobber, tracker or scrambler. Whether noble and expensive or low-budget – the MOTORRAD SHOW custom bike will be in demand again in 2024. Anyone who has customized their bike to a greater or lesser extent can take part. The hottest machines will be invited to a designated area in the main hall MOTORRAD SHOW custom bikes 2024 The audience at the trade fair then votes. Those interested can find further information at https://www.motorradshow-oldenburg.de/fuer-visitor/custombike-contest/ .
Modifications in the shot glass class
Mopeds and mopeds are also experiencing an increasingly significant renaissance. This year there will be a custom moped contest for the first time at the MOTORRAD SHOW. The mastermind of the whole thing is Tim Gollenstede from the Moped Drag Race Team, who has been no stranger to the motorcycle trade fair since 2019. One or two photos from the Matchbox moped box from last year at the trade fair still adorn the bedside table at home for some fans. “We have already received some really great applications,” says Sonja Hobbie, project manager of the MOTORRAD SHOW, and is happy to see participants who want to present their lovingly modified mopeds/mopeds at the trade fair.
Small place with a big impact
There are no limits to the inventiveness of the Moped Drag Race team. While Tim Gollenstede started the self-organized first moped acceleration race in 2019 with 3,000 visitors, at the second moped drag race in 2023 in Schweiburg, twice the number of visitors enjoyed the largest two-stroke meeting and moped acceleration race in all of Germany.
The Moped Drag Race is already busy with ideas and further planning. From May 3rd to 5th, 2024, moped pulling will take place for the very first time in Germany in the small town of Schweiburg, the home of Tim Gollenstede and his crew. The specially built brake van proves whose moped is the real winner in the show of strength. A subsequent award ceremony with attractive prizes and trophies is mandatory for the Moped Drag Race team. This event is also already considered an absolute crowd puller internally; with up to 5,000 visitors, the tranquil Schweiburg will probably reach five times its population.
As parents, the Drag Race team also shows a big heart for children. With a holiday pass campaign in the coming summer holidays, the Moped Drag Race team will get the children involved in their own crafts when mending tires or learning the technology. How does the moped I'm currently sitting on work? “It’s not just refueling and driving that’s important, the carburettor, ignition switches and brakes also need to be replaced,” explains Tim Gollenstede. The good words of his own father remain in his memory to this day: “If you broke something yourself, you have to fix it yourself”. Learning from experience.
The Moped Drag Race Team will provide information about these and other events at the 2024 motorcycle trade fair stand.
There is the smell of a workshop in the air
A visit to the Moped Drag Race Team is definitely worth it. There are other special little things here that come from our own creation. The “two-stroke perfume” is a good-smelling attraction if you rely on the smell of workshop, oil and cigarette smoke as your personal favorite fragrance brands. Specially created by a perfumer in a perfume factory, the “two-stroke perfume” is now being reproduced in a second series.
Simply delicious
Another good-smelling and tasty liquid that Tim Gollenstede is bringing to this year's MOTORRAD SHOW is his own To Go cocktail creation. In true style and in keeping with the trade fair, all cocktails have the trade fair label on them.
Motomeets – an app that has it all
“Motomeets” – a name worth remembering. The newly launched app opens up completely new possibilities for meeting like-minded people. The app was created out of demand for “Where were you,” reports the 38-year-old. “What if there was a calendar in which everyone could enter when they are where and what they are planning” – Tim Gollenstede was able to answer this question with the app and spark new paths for mopeds and other combustion engine companions.
Bikers from different places meet at mutually agreed starting points to create a shared riding experience. True to the motto: “It's better together,” the app lets its users enter every event, trip, day trip and other meeting. Users can register by participating or request further information. Push notifications inform you about changes to the planned project. An extra filter gives users further options to limit the meetings. The unofficial test version is already running. The team around Tim and Udo shows interested trade fair visitors how to use it.
Meetings with other like-minded people are of particular importance for the Moped Drag Race team: “The older ones in particular have incredible knowledge when it comes to the vehicles. This knowledge is dying out. You have to see that you get the information through meetings and shared exchanges. The question of “How did you do that” when it comes to a conversion or tuning is often neglected. The good looks and horsepower of a two-stroke engine alone are not enough.
Last but not least, visitors can once again look forward to the unique dynamometer that accompanies the Moped Drag Race Team to this year's motorcycle trade fair. Ammerschläger's mobile test bench, which has an output of up to 100 hp, was already impressive last year.
The MOTORRAD SHOW 2024 – two days full of inspiration, ideas and innovations.

Another break year: IMOT – International Motorcycle Exhibition Munich canceled for 2022
Munich. The IMOT – International Motorcycle Exhibition planned for February 18th to 20th, 2022 at the exhibition center in Munich-Riem has been canceled. With this decision, IMOT GmbH is reacting to the continued high Covid-19 infection rates, the existing restrictions for major events and the resulting planning uncertainty for the organizers and exhibitors.
“It is very bitter, but ultimately we had no choice but to press the pause button for the 2022 edition of our trade fair,” explains Petra Zahradka, Managing Director of IMOT.
“Unfortunately, the Covid-19 infection situation in Bavaria and the surrounding regions remains at a consistently high level, and there is no trend reversal in sight for the coming weeks. Therefore, it will not be possible for us to organize a large public trade fair like the IMOT on the planned date with the necessary safety for the visitors, our exhibitors and, last but not least, for our team." After the IMOT - International Motorcycle Exhibition for over 27 years has long been a fixture in the German two-wheeler trade fair landscape, the organizers took a break for the first time in 2021 due to the pandemic situation. After the preparations for IMOT 2022 were again very successful and the industry showed great interest in the restart, the renewed cancellation is particularly painful. “In addition to our responsibility in matters of health, our decision to cancel is also based on the need to give exhibitors, their employees and service providers the necessary planning security,” Zahradka continues.
“Our goal is actually to completely reorganize IMOT. The key points in this new concept are the move to the exhibition center in Munich-Riem and the cooperation with the travel and leisure trade fair f.re.e, which is planned there at the same time. as well as the Munich Auto Days. We are now planning to realize this very attractive event combination for all trade fair visitors in 2023.”
The new regulations in NRW to hold events under 2G / 2G plus leave us no choice - CUSTOMBIKE SHOW 2021 canceled! “The increasing numbers of corona diseases and vaccination rates that are still too low have led politicians to exclude a certain group of people from, for example, our event.
Everyone can decide for themselves how they feel about this and whether it is effective. However, it is then not possible for us to have a successful CUSTOMBIKE SHOW, because having fun is part of it. That's why we ask for your understanding for our current cancellation. CUSTOMBIKE SHOW means fun, encounters, respect and togetherness paired with a shared interest in bikes. Under these circumstances, this is not feasible for everyone and therefore not possible for us.
Thanks to its exhibitors, the bike show participants and everyone involved, the CUSTOMBIKE SHOW 2021 would have been a show worth seeing and a new beginning. Now we will really do everything we can to create a stronger and better CUSTOMBIKE SHOW than ever in 2022. Help us achieve this goal by staying loyal to us.
See you soon! “Statement from Andreas Reibchen – Managing Partner of Messe Ostwestfalen: We would like to thank all exhibitors, bike show participants, partners and visitors.
Stay healthy and hopefully see you soon in Bad Salzuflen CUSTOMBIKE SHOW 2022 / December 2nd to 4th
