(Neu-Isenburg, December 18, 2018) Where the two rivers Hörsel and Nesse meet - almost exactly in the middle of Germany - lies Eisenach, one of the oldest cities in Thuringia, and on its doorstep an area that poet prince Goethe described as “super-glorious”. called: the Thuringian Forest, which is a good 1,000 square kilometers in size and up to 983 meters high.
The low-mountain motorcycle paradise offers winding asphalt in a unique nature that always offers breathtaking panoramic views.
So what could be more natural than celebrating a party for all Milwaukee Irons fans in Eisenach - especially since the city also has a cool event area that offers plenty of space for people and machines? In 2019, to be precise from May 24th to 26th, the time has come: the first Hellfire Bike Weekend - organized by the creators of the German RaceWars event and the teams from Harley-Davidson Fulda and Erfurt - gets underway. Eisenach-Kindel serves as the location. The former Russian military airfield is conveniently located on the BAB 4 and only 15 minutes away from Lutherstadt with its Bach House, the Georgenkirche, one of the most beautiful historic villa districts in Europe and the historic UNESCO World Heritage Site, the Wartburg.
On an impressive runway and lush lawns, a magnificent tent city awaits visitors on the three event days, where seeing and being seen, relaxed petrol chats among petrolheads and shopping at the parts and fashion stands are on the agenda. Lots of caterers provide food and drinks from very early to very late - including a daily biker breakfast buffet. Fun, excitement and adrenaline are the order of the day when spectacular acceleration shows transform the runway into a drag strip, including a 10,000 hp jet funny car and a jet truck that squeezes an even 5,000 hp more out of the turbine. Additional entertainment is guaranteed by bull riding, the stunt show and the burnout contest. As befits, the 2019 models from Harley-Davidson can be extensively test driven. The charming surroundings can be explored on guided tours and of course there will be lots of music for your ears: Stahlzeit , Jimmy Cornett, Augenfeindt and two other bands provide the soundtrack to the event . Last, but not least, fireworks will cause reverent ahs and ohs.
In addition to modern hotels, cozy guesthouses and holiday apartments in Eisenach and the surrounding area, the romantic hotel on the Wartburg offers accommodation. Of course, you can also camp in style directly at the event site. The entire weekend costs 40 euros. The day ticket is available for 20 euros (Sunday: 10 euros).
