Text on the back of the book
Harley-Davidson has always been more than just a motorcycle brand: for riders and fans, the name represents an attitude to life, an exclusive way of relaxation, an escape from everyday life - for some it is a synonym for freedom.
Combining the tradition of the 45° V-twin engine concept, which dates back to the early days of motorization, with ever new technology has always been the successful concept. But much more has happened in more than 110 years of company history. Some things were previously secret or hidden in the archives. However, in the years since the company's 95th birthday in 1998, new facts, models and trends have been added in enormous numbers. In addition, the creativity of the custom scene and the Harley events are flourishing in a way that would never have been thought possible before.
Harley-Davidson itself has significantly rejuvenated the brand and has one of the most modern motorcycle model ranges in the company's history.
The Harley-Davidson Museum in Milwaukee allows access to new, previously unseen material.
In recent years, enthusiasts have unearthed numerous treasures in the form of motorcycles and documents. This book shows previously unpublished highlights of Harley history , describes the current events surrounding the brand from a European perspective and gives an insight into the incredible number of Harley-Davidson rarities and conversions around the world. Anyone who is fascinated by the traditional brand from Milwaukee will get their money's worth with this extraordinary, magnificent volume.
