Harley-Davidson Fulda receives silver medal
in the „Retailer of the Year“ competition and
Donates €10,000 to charity with H.O.G. Chapter

(Fulda, September 17, 2020) Who are Germany's best motorcycle dealers? World of Bike knows, because the trade magazine for the motorcycle industry has been organizing the „Dealer of the Year“ competition since 2004. In 2020, nearly 130 companies competed for the coveted crown for dealers in German-speaking countries. Harley-Davidson Fulda won the silver medal. „This year's winners and runners-up are exceptional performers, true high-performance companies when it comes to values such as customer focus, service readiness, and motivation,“ said World of Bike, explaining its choice.
„Being named one of the dealers of the year is a great honor for us,“ said Regina Kremer, managing director of Harley-Davidson Fulda, „and of course the award had to be celebrated in a fitting manner.“ Accordingly, the Fulda-based company actually wanted to throw a huge party, but due to the coronavirus pandemic, it turned into a small, intimate celebration.
On September 15, the big day arrived: Regina Kremer received the certificate and silver medal from Klaus Hüttinger, publisher of World of Bike. District Manager Marc Frölich from Harley-Davidson Germany also traveled to East Hesse to convey the congratulations of the US motorcycle manufacturer's German headquarters, pop the champagne corks together with the Fulda team, and toast to 21 successful years of Harley-Davidson in Fulda.
At the beginning of the millennium, the dedicated team of three based in Heidelsteinstraße had only 270 square meters of space available for sales, storage, workshop, and office. Now, after various renovations, extensions, and new construction, they have around 2,000 square meters—in a bright, inviting atmosphere that includes a popular biker bar. „We are grateful for this development, for our 21 qualified and reliable employees, and for our numerous loyal customers who are bound to us by friendship,“ admits Regina Kremer.
But September 15 was a memorable day for another reason, too, because Markus Kremer, Director of the Fulda-Rhön Chapter of the Harley Owners Group (H.O.G.), took the opportunity to present Elke Hohmann from the German Palliative Foundation (DPS) with a substantial check.
„With this gift, we want to help close the gaps in care for seriously ill and dying people and their families,“ said Kremer, explaining the remarkable charity campaign. For a year, the largest H.O.G. chapter in Europe, affiliated with the Fulda dealer and with over 600 members, had been collecting donations, and Harley-Davidson Fulda took the opportunity to round up the amount to a full €10,000.
