• Custom bikes, vintage cars, stage show and a live gig from Rockhouse
• Tanja Schumann, Heinz Hoenig and Horst Lichter on site
• Raffle for a Harley-Davidson Sportster
(Hamburg, January 23rd, 2018) On February 3rd and 4th, 2018, things will be happening at Ivo-Hauptmann-Ring 4 in the Hamburg district of Farmsen: Harley-Davidson Hamburg-Nord is celebrating the opening of its new, approximately 3,250 m2 domicile - befitting, as befits an authorized motorcycle dealer from Milwaukee.
Actress and Harley rider Tanja Schumann will lead through a program that has it all on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and on Sunday from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. In addition to the brand new 2018 Harley models and several powerful custom bikes, a large vintage car exhibition will ensure that guests don't run out of things to talk about. Accessories and clothing - offered on Saturday for a limited time at attractive prices - are among the topics of the daily stage shows. Of course, the physical well-being of the guests is also taken care of. And because motorcycles and good music simply go together perfectly, the Hamburg cult band Rockhouse will take the stage on Saturday evening at 6 p.m. The sound from AC/DC to ZZ Top will immediately hit your feet. For the biker breakfast on Sunday, Tobias Tadday, who was on stage with Pohlmann, the H-Blockx and Johannes Oerding, among others, picks up the strings of his guitar.
As a special guest, Harley-Davidson Hamburg-Nord welcomes Heinz Hoenig, one of the country's most popular actors. The Schleswig-Holsteiner by choice, Grimme Prize winner and Harley rider will use a historic goulash cannon and the “peace nails” to promote the Heinz Hoenig Schmiede, his charity project for the benefit of traumatized children. There are also autographs from chef, entertainer, author and presenter Horst Lichter, who, as a cheerful Rhenish native, is not only one of the most popular German television chefs, but is also an avowed Harley fan and driver.
One of the highlights of the weekend is the raffle of a Harley-Davidson Sportster. This bike is the first machine that Harley-Davidson Hamburg-Nord has sold in its 20-year history. The 32-person team led by managing directors Axel Kunth-Joost and Roger Gierz bought it back, revised it and professionally individualized it. The result: a motorcycle dream that you can win by buying one of 1,000 fan sets consisting of a Harley-Davidson Hamburg Nord shirt and pin.
“Our previous store in Hamburg-Eppendorf was bursting at the seams,” says Roger Gierz, explaining the background to the move, “and we are happy to have found a new home in Farmsen that offers around 1,000 m2 more space for the modernly equipped workshop and the Showroom offers. All motorcycle fans are warmly invited to get to know our new dealership and toast it with us!” Further information will be available on site on February 3rd and 4th or in advance on the web at www.harley-hh.de.
