(Neu-Isenburg, February 10, 2021) With “The Hardwire,” Jochen Zeitz, President and CEO of Harley-Davidson, has drawn up a new corporate strategy for the Motor Company. The goals include a further increase in brand desirability, which is why the topic of customer satisfaction is moving even more into focus.
The fact that it traditionally plays a major role at Harley-Davidson is underlined by a current study by the Institute for Management and Economic Research (IMWF) on behalf of Deutschland Test and Focus-Money. The study determined which companies in Germany fulfill the wishes of their customers in an exemplary manner and are therefore most likely to receive repeat business and orders.
Around 17,000 companies from around 300 industries were examined and compared - and in the motorcycles and mopeds category within the mobility segment, Harley-Davidson is at the forefront. With a full score of 100, the US brand claimed victory and relegated a Japanese and an Italian provider to second and third place.
The study identified visibility, information coverage and service fulfillment as key factors for customer satisfaction. Online news and social media addresses were analyzed and almost 51 million mentions of 17,000 companies were recorded in the study period from December 2019 to November 2020.
