Everything else helps, of course, but before you make a huge effort and expense yourself, it's easier and quicker to help with a monetary donation. The chapter is not a non-profit organization and cannot issue receipts for donations.
The need is really great, the fear that an attempt will be made to raze the city to the ground is well-founded, this has already been reported from other places. You have to prepare for this and we can help you to be well prepared for this scenario. Escape is not an option for them!

You receive help for Ukraine every day. They would like to thank you very much for this. If you want to help with donations in kind, the following is important for proper coordination and routing of the help.
What you should consider before sending your aid to Ukraine or Poland.
- Try to unite with neighboring chapters or those who help. This makes it easier to ensure sorted transport to the region. Even in times of crisis, customs declarations have to be filled out and it makes the routing of relief goods much easier.
- Label the boxes as best you can . Pack as pure as possible, blankets with blankets, and clothing sets in small packages. Separate clothing from medications and food. Food should have a shelf life of at least 3 months, no products that can spoil.
- What is needed? Sometimes it can be banal things for us, but if you no longer have electricity, candles help, that's how you should approach the matter. Small care packages packed with the following products can be helpful: water bottle, chocolate bars, canned goods, first aid kits, candles, lighters, small bags. Things that can be stowed away quickly in case you have to escape. Chocolate bars and gummy bears in particular can serve as food for the nerves.
- The list of foods that are needed. According to previous information, food prices in Ukraine have doubled. Therefore, the following products can alleviate the greatest need: canned goods (meat, fish, ravioli, flour, sugar, salt, baking powder, dry yeast, baking soda, whole chicken egg powder, oil, margarine, or butter, chocolate, pasta, rice, milk powder, rusks, crispbread , oatmeal, muesli, baby food, nuts,
- Other: generator sets, protective vests, blankets, power banks (solar), storm lamps, lamp oil, spare wicks, packing backpacks, binoculars, sleeping bags, crowbars, cutlery sets, anti-tracking cell phone cases, water filters, water treatment, first aid sets, tools for retrieving spills.
- Medicines: Medicines must be declared as such, so always pack them separately and also label the box. Bandages, syringes, painkillers, everyday medications, valerian, psychotropic drugs and hygiene products are needed.
- Logistics. The partners have their own warehouse in Rzeszow near Poland, near the Ukrainian border, where donations can be dropped off.

betterplace.org is non-profit and not profit-oriented.
Transparency: When you donate, there are costs that banks and payment providers charge, for example. Therefore, 2.5% of every donation remains with betterplace.org. With this 2.5% they can cover these costs. There are no further deductions! All funds, after deduction of Betterplace fees, will be forwarded to the Polish Krakow Chapter.
Betterplace also charges a voluntary donation amount. If you do not want to support the donation platform, you can correct the amount to €0. It is the best-known donation platform in German-speaking countries; processing donations and maintaining the platform is very complex. Payment processing is carried out via Betterplace.
