Harley-Davidson honored with industry awards
• Harley-Davidson is “Best Brands” winner for the fifth time in a row
• Second place in the “Insights” study
• “Dealer of the Year” and “Service Quality Award” awards go to Harley-Davidson authorized dealers
(Neu-Isenburg, November 29, 2017) Dangers, accidents, tragedies and catastrophes – bad news traditionally outweighs the good. Every now and then there are positive things to report. For example, that some things just go smoothly – like at Harley-Davidson. This was once again confirmed by the leading German industry magazines and TÜV in 2017.
Year after year, the magazine “bike und business” gives out “Best Brands” awards to manufacturers and the accessories industry. The retailers rate how satisfied they are with the work of their suppliers. In 515 telephone interviews in 2017, the quality of the products, technical support in service, delivery ability and dealer support in marketing and sales were assessed, among other things. The winner in the “Volume Motorcycle Manufacturer” category was Harley-Davidson – for the fifth time in a row.
On November 23, 2017, Harley-Davidson Service and Customization Consultant Imke Köhler and District Manager Marc Frölich accepted the coveted award in front of over 300 guests at the gala evening of the “bike and business” conference in Würzburg. “We have seven district managers, four dealer marketing consultants, three service and customization consultants and two finance and insurance consultants who ensure a direct line between the company headquarters and the German, Austrian and Swiss dealers,” explains Frölich. “We are all very pleased with the good marks we have received from our authorized dealers over the last five years. Awards like these are not only recognition, but also an incentive and a commitment to our job.”
Harley-Davidson already had reason to be happy at the beginning of 2017 when the industry magazine “World of Bike” presented its “Insight” market study, which also examined whether the providers were convincing the German two-wheeler trade with their products and services. In this study, the US company came in second place. A few months later, the same magazine named “House of Flames”, the Harley-Davidson authorized dealer with two branches in Munich and one in Ulm, “Dealer of the Year 2017”. And in September, TÜV Süd awarded its “Service Quality Award” to Harley-Davidson Stuttgart for outstanding performance in the main inspections.
