Harley-Davidson honors the three best German authorized dealers
FRANKFURT (March 9, 2023) - Arthur Davidson, one of the four founders of
Harley-Davidson , recognized the importance of a good dealer network. Over 110 years ago, he began traveling the USA to recruit dealers based on strict criteria - with success: By the end of 1908, Harley-Davidson dealers had already opened in numerous major cities such as New York, Chicago and Philadelphia.
In Germany, the Motor Company is now represented by 66 authorized dealers and in 2023 Harley-Davidson Germany GmbH will select the best three of them. Number 1 is Harley-Davidson Staalfabrik from Rostock, closely followed by House of Thunder – Harley-Davidson Lübeck and Harley-Davidson Pfeiffer from Kamen. As part of a ceremony with the German authorized dealers at the “ Motorcycles Kolja Rebstock , Regional Vice President EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa) and Managing Director DACH (Germany, Austria and Switzerland) at the Harley-Davidson Motor Company, handed over the trophies went to the representatives of the three winning companies - and the joy of the honorees was obvious!
Rebstock was happy with them: “We are proud of our German dealer network, because all of our authorized dealers are characterized by a high level of authenticity, friendliness and competence. In 2023 we would like to particularly highlight the top performance of our dealers in Rostock, Lübeck and Kamen.”
To define the top three dealers, Harley-Davidson used both quantitative and qualitative criteria for evaluation.
“For us, retail employees are the most important interface between the brand and customers,” adds Rebstock. “They stand up for Harley-Davidson, they are the faces of our brand and they ensure that our customers are beyond satisfied.
