Last Days of Summer
New Harley-Davidson jackets for fall
- CE-certified safety
- Collections for every personal style
- Shirts and accessories complete the look
(Neu-Isenburg, August 14, 2018) In July 1913, a temperature of 56.7 degrees Celsius was recorded in Death Valley, USA – a world heat record that remains unbroken to this day. Although our summer temperatures, which remain steadily above 30 degrees Celsius, seem harmless in comparison, the whole of Germany groaned under the sun and drought in 2018. Anyone who found it simply too hot to get on their bike can now look forward to a season in which high-pressure areas traditionally strike less mercilessly and relaxed bike rides are possible again.
If you don't have the right clothing for this yet, you should visit your nearest Harley-Davidson dealer now, because they have just received a number of new jackets that are ideal for the transition period.
For example, those from the FXRG collection. They combine versatility and comfort with maximum safety, because, like all Harley-Davidson motorcycle jackets, they meet the requirements of EU Regulation 2016/425 for personal protective equipment. The CE mark confirms that the product in question has undergone extensive testing and is the first choice in terms of ergonomic design, abrasion and tear resistance of the outer material and seams, and the attachment of protectors in areas at risk of impact. In addition, FXRG jackets, like all other Harley-Davidson motorcycle jackets, feature shoulder and elbow protectors and a pocket for an optional back protector. New to the range is the FXRG Triple Vent System Waterproof Leather Jacket made from high-quality, water-repellent leather in a men's cut (98038-19EM; RRP Germany: from €829) and a women's cut (98039-19EW; RRP Germany: from €799). Its Coolcore lining keeps the body cool in hot weather and warm in cold weather. Pre-shaped sleeves, a slim stand-up collar, and the Triple Vent System with closable ventilation openings provide additional comfort.
The MotorClothes collection for fall also has a number of new items to offer. In addition to shirts, hoodies, caps, and numerous accessories, this naturally also includes CE-approved jackets. One example is the Maytor Slim Fit Leather Jacket (97016-19EM; RRP in Germany: from €729), a cool men's jacket made of buffalo leather with contrasting leather stripes. New for women is the Barrie Slim Fit Riding Jacket (97132-19EW; RRP Germany: from €259), a waterproof and breathable textile jacket with stylish patches and graphics. Both feature removable linings, pre-shaped sleeves, and hand warmer pockets, among other things.
The slim-fit, CE-certified jackets in the H-D Moto collection are both stylish and slim-fitting, ensuring you look your best even when shopping in the city. Take, for example, the Wolf Pond Textile Riding Jacket (98290-19EM; RRP Germany: from €369) made of softshell with poly mesh lining for him and the Vandre Leather Jacket (98050-19EW; RRP Germany: from €609) made of cowhide leather with an asymmetrical front zipper for her. Both feature removable quilted vests and pre-shaped sleeves. Subtle logos and lettering hint at the owner's love of motorcycles. The perfect additions to this look are a shirt from the same collection and the new „The Shovel“ jet helmet (98277-19EX, MSRP Germany: €219) made of fiberglass with a double D-ring closure.
