Let's get to the actual information, the most striking thing about the 2022 Low Rider S model is the new analog 4-inch tachometer with digital speedometer, gear indicator, odometer, fuel level, clock, trip distance and range display. LED front headlights and LED Zeppelin taillights, the indicators still seem to show the way with the tried and tested light bulbs.
Can Adaptive Ride Height (AHR) be ordered as an option?
Because the speedometer unit has now been moved to the handlebars, the tank has taken on a clean shape. The 2022 model is a touch longer at 2,365 mm (2,355 mm). The unloaded seat height changes to 710 mm (690mm). There is a possibility that the Low Rider S 2022 could get the ARH suspension as an option, that is the Adaptive Ride Height System, which we already know from the Pan America. This lowers the height of the Low Rider S. In the 2022 model, the rear suspension travel changes from 86mm to 112mm.
If the AHR chassis actually becomes available as an option, that will be a move towards air suspension and bikers with short legs in particular will have a comfortable option with AHR to lower the bike and thus achieve a secure position. At least that's a good thing for the Pan America arrived and works great.
You can see that the Softail is becoming more digital, you don't hear anything about driving modes yet, but they can't be far away from that in the Softail models.
One thing is clear, this will be a sharp device and I can imagine that the first reservation lists have already been created at the authorized dealers.
