Westerland (25.01.2025) - With wild surf on long beaches, majestic dunes and salty North Sea browns under an almost endless horizon, it is Germany's number one longing island and enchants its visitors with a magical atmosphere. Every year hundreds of motorcycle fans, who visit a very special event that are only available here: the Summertime party are convincing of the unique charm of Sylts. More than just an event, she is pure passion and represents a tradition that has connected people since 1998.
When the summer is back in radiant light in the northernmost island of the Republic in 2025, it is time: from Thursday, 12th to Sunday, June 15th, this year is done at Sylt and not only motorcycle friends, but all fans of Good Vibrations are cordially invited. Once again, the Sylt chapter of the Harley Owner's Group and his sponsoring dealer have again provided a concentrated program with a number of highlights and the beginning is already sugar-sweet: Harley-Davidson Fashion Sylt invites early cake to a piece of cake in the Westerland store in the early 24th calendar week.
The first official program item can be enjoyed on Thursday evening: Because the Cruise Night cemented a wide grin on the face last year, the "Sylt Express" will run out again in 2025. With music and drinks, the guests enjoy the romantic sunset at the Lister Ellenbogen very relaxed. Since a maximum of 500 participants are allowed on board, the maritime excursion must be booked separately in advance.
Friday transforms Elisabethstrasse in the heart of Westerland into a pulsating Main Street of the bikers. With hot coffee and extensive shopping, the anticipation of the big party in the new Kursaal grows. A large biker buffet and an exciting raffle are among the program items that promise a night full of entertainment and unforgettable impressions. In addition to top-DJ Ralf Burnett, "The hardest dance band in the world", the Frisian live band United4, is responsible, which has already made it to the semi-finals of the RTL Show "The Super Talent".
The highlight of the weekend is of course the Korso on Saturday, to which the bikers park their machines early on the Westerländer Kurpromenade to enjoy a breakfast together at live music. At lunchtime, the engines wake up to life and under the applause of countless spectators, one machine after another starts to move. Thanks to the road captains of the Sylt chapter, the paradise leads through the most beautiful locations on the island, eagerly awaited everywhere by enthusiastic fawns. A stop at Gosch in List is of course an absolute must - the famous snacks, fresh from the North Sea, are simply irresistible. In the afternoon, the exit at music and a cool drink in Wenningstedt ends, where a big raffle rises among the corset participants.
After that, visitors enjoy the almost countless ways to let their souls wander on Sylt - be it with a refreshing bath in the North Sea, a walk over the picturesque dikes or the climbing of the Hörnum lighthouse. Just looking at the grandiose nature ensures that you leave everyday life behind in no time.
The Sylt Chapter and Harley-Davidson Fashion Sylt are already in the preparations and count the days until the island carries black orange again. If you want to get the incomparable Sylt feeling and want to be part of this year's SummerTime party, you should register quickly, because the number of guests is strictly limited. Participation costs 99 euros per person - including admission to the biker party with pin, gift and buffet, various consumption vouchers for the paradise stops and discounted island crossings by train or ship.
