Harley-Davidson is now showing the current colors of the 2023 models
These are the Harley-Davidson Carry Over models that have now been presented in the new Harley-Davison 2023 model colors. What does presented mean, there is no real communication about it, last year's models were exchanged for the new 2023 models in a completely unspectacular manner on the Harley-Davidson website. And if you've been looking at your favorite for a while, the first thing you'll notice is that not only is the paintwork new, but also the price, as has long been announced.
Softail entry level – Softail Standard – model year 2022 vs 2023

According to the current status, the Softail Standard will cost a respectable €18,995 in 2023 plus installation fee. Previously it was €16,325 plus setup fee. Yes, good, but it was announced for a long time that the prices would rise, the positive thing about the whole thing is that the used Harley-Davidson will also rise in price. A well-preserved Harley-Davidson has always had its price and that will certainly not change for the time being.
What we can still see is that the 107 Milwaukee-Eight engine is still in play, the Softail Standard and the very popular Sport Glide are still using the agile 107 (1,745 cc) Milwaukee-Eight engine.
The Harley-Davidson Heritage 2023
The current price will cause some confusion, on the Harley-Davidson website there is a price starting at €32,995 (as of January 2nd, 2023), but the price is not correct, the model from the Cruiser series will be available after consultation with Harley -Davidson will be available from €25,995 plus AP.
Where is the breakout 2023?
As we can see, it is missing from the list of carry-over models, there must be reasons for that! I don't assume that Harley-Davidson will throw the Breakout out of the European Harley-Davidson model range just because of what happened to it in the USA. If my suspicions turn out to be true, we will see something cool on January 18, 2023, at the presentation of the new Harley-Davidson 2023 models.
The Breakout, together with the Fat Boy, is the perfect custom bike template. If they reissue the Breakout with the 117 Milwaukee-Eight engine, the relevant customizers will not only breathe a sigh of relief, but their hearts will immediately beat a lot faster.
The Grand American Tourer models
The 2023 Street Glide and Road Glide ST models and the Low Rider S and ST are now delivered in Vivid Black and the new White Sand Pearl . The ST series has been consistently successful for me; last year I drove 10,000 kilometers each with the Road Glide ST and Street Glide ST , which are incredibly fun with the 117 (1,923 cm³) Milwaukee-Eight engine.
For example, when I look at the colors of the Street Glide 2023 models on the Harley-Davidson website in the 360 degree view, this strange plastic representation doesn't really come across well, in real life the paint always looks better than on the website Harley Davidson. You feel like you're trying to choose a toy model.
There will be no online configurator in 2023 either
Anyway, you have to ask yourself why at Harley-Davidson 2023 it is still not possible to put together your desired model on the website in a configurator according to your own wishes and with the finished configuration code you can then go to the dealer of your choice where, at best, you can get appropriate advice. They used to be generally more innovative!
Pan America Harley Davidson
Not much will change at the Pan America The small 975 version is not expected in Europe.
Harley-Davidson CVO 2023
I only have vague information about this from last year, it is assumed that we will only see one cracker from this area at the presentation, the actual presentation of the new CVO series is not expected until July/August, but it should be epic become. The price is also believed to be somewhere around €50,000.
The cheapest way to dive into the Harley-Davidson world will be with the Sportster Nightster for over €15,000; I haven't been able to find out the current price for 2023 yet.
The 120th Anniversary models from Harley-Davidson will certainly be spectacular, but one thing is clear: at Harley-Davidson they say “ bottlenecks create desires ”.
