Sneak preview at Harley-Davidson Potsdam
On February 11, two brand new Harley-Davidson models for 2012 will be unveiled at Rudolf-Moos-Straße 12
In recent years, Harley-Davidson has established an exciting tradition: with remarkable regularity, the Motor Company has presented its model range for the coming season in the fall, adding one or two new models to its portfolio at the beginning of the year.
Just in time for the new motorcycle season, these brand-new models were available in authorized dealers' showrooms worldwide.
The US brand still has a few surprises in store for 2012 that are sure to delight its fans.
The time will soon be here. On February 11, starting at 10 a.m. at Rudolf-Moos-Straße 12 at Harley-Davidson Potsdam, the new models that were still labeled „top secret“ in January will be unveiled to the public for the first time: the brand new Softail Slim and Sportster Seventy-Two models.
The Softail Slim is a genuine „bobber“, reduced to what counts. The wide handlebars, the footboards, the slim rear, numerous black components and the powerful 1690 cc V-engine characterize its style. With its traditional „Peanut“ tank, high „Mini Ape“ handlebars, solo seat, shortened rear fender and whitewall tires, the Sportster Seventy-Two takes the classic „chopper“ look to the extreme.
Regardless of whether they prefer choppers or bobbers, motorcycle fans will be able to get their own impression of the new products on February 11, and touching is expressly permitted! The team from Harley-Davidson Potsdam will be on hand to answer any questions about the news from the USA and the Harley-Davidson brand. And, of course, Managing Director Mike Scharenberg has made sure that his guests„ throats don't stay dry and their stomachs don't growl while “talking gas".
