MILAN (Nov. 4, 2013) – Shortly after unveiling Project RUSHMORE in August, Harley-Davidson (NYSE: HOG) unveils two all-new Dark Custom™ motorcycles for a new generation of urban-oriented riders.
With their new , liquid - cooled Revolution
“The two new machines join our Dark Custom lineup, which has helped make us the No. 1 motorcycle brand preferred by young adults in the U.S. for the past five years,” said Matt Levatich, president and chief operating officer of Harley-Davidson . Davidson Motor Company . “When it comes to development and design, we took the wishes and ideas of our customers into account to a great extent, because they form a core element in our new product development process, which recently played a large part in the success of our RUSHMORE .”
Urban and authentic Harley-Davidson
The Harley-Davidson Street 750 and Street 500 are perfect for an urban environment. They are powered by the new Revolution X™ engine, which ensures maximum agility in the city. And a gentle twist of the throttle is enough to escape the urban stop-and-go.
The Revolution fast corners are driven. Both Dark Custom machines are designed in a style that is as high-quality as it is reduced, making it easy for the rider to customize their motorcycle to suit their own taste.
“The Harley-Davidson Street 750 and Street 500 form the perfect foundation for a new generation of riders looking for a machine that fits their urban lifestyle and motorcycle riding needs,” explains Mark-Hans Richer , Sr Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer of Harley-Davidson Motor Company. “But as compact and agile as our two new motorcycles may be, they are thoroughly authentic Harley-Davidsons with the dark character of dark custom bikes.”
