Harley-Davidson models 2025 - The highlights at a glance
On the night of January 24th, Harley-Davidson presented the new models for 2025. This is just a first overview - detailed information will follow around noon.
Low Rider ST 117 High Output
The new Low Rider ST 117 High Output is certainly a highlight. In terms of color - at least in the pictures - it already makes quite an impression: Bright colors and a new, eye-catching tank emblem immediately catch the eye. The model is available in eight different colors. The engine is optionally available in chrome or with black accents. The new, simple fittings are particularly striking. They have a tidy appearance and appear to be easy to operate even when wearing gloves.
Street Bob 117
Harley-Davidson is also relying on the powerful 117cc engine for the 2025 cruiser models, as can now also be seen in the new Street Bob. The engine seems to have a lot in common technically with the Helix models of the grand tourers - we will probably have to wait and see the technical data. One thing is clear, however: the 117cc engine is a real powerhouse.
The Street Bob comes with new spoke wheels, optionally also with cast wheels, and a 2-in-1 exhaust system. Unfortunately, the model only has a disc brake at the front - a second one wouldn't have hurt. Nevertheless, the Street Bob is visually impressive, also thanks to the dashboard and speedometer design, which have been reduced to the essentials. There is a choice of five color variants, which look solid but not very exciting.
CVO Road Glide ST
It's good to see that Harley-Davidson is bringing this sporty model series back into the range in 2025. The CVO Road Glide ST looks extremely dynamic, but is clearly designed for performance and style. With its sleek, sporty design, it appeals to a target group that likes to ride something eye-catching and powerful.
Although my personal choice would still be the classic CVO Road Glide - simply more suitable for touring and more versatile. Nevertheless, the new special paint finishes of the ST immediately catch the eye. Harley-Davidson has achieved a style with these colors that will certainly not only stand out on the road, but will also attract the attention of custom fans. However, these eye-catching paint finishes also come at a price - as is usual with CVO models, they are likely to be in the upper price range.
The CVO Road Glide ST also scores points with its top equipment, which should appeal to both technology fans and lovers of high-quality details. From the chassis to the modern features, everything seems to be designed for dynamics and sport.
CVO Road Glide and CVO Street Glide
The CVO Road Glide and CVO Street Glide come in particularly eye-catching colors this year. As always with the CVO paint finishes, you have to experience them live, ideally in the sunshine - only then do the colors reveal their full potential. Harley-Davidson has once again managed to bring the CVO models to the top visually, and this will appeal to many who are looking for an individual and exclusive motorcycle.
Major technical changes are not noticeable at first glance, but visually they remain real eye-catchers. The combination of the new paintwork and the parts from the CVO series in particular continue to set these models apart from the standard tourers.
Both models also score points with very good equipment, such as the Skyline OS infotainment system, which should delight riders and passengers alike. The combination of performance, comfort and design once again makes the CVO Road Glide and CVO Street Glide highlights in the Harley-Davidson portfolio.
Whether for long distances or the countryside - these bikes can do both with ease. For me, the Road Glide, with its high handlebars, is the absolute favorite, it has already carried me over 15,000 kilometers across Europe in 2024 without any problems.
Fat Boy and Breakout
The two cruiser models Fat Boy and Breakout also make quite an impression. Both feature the powerful 117cc V2 engine and a striking 2-in-2 exhaust system.
The Breakout stands out with a new speedometer design that looks more ergonomic - we'll have to wait and see how it performs in practice. The tank emblem is also new. The round headlight looks somewhat smaller and more classic this time. The black model cuts a particularly good figure in the pictures. There is a total of five color variants to choose from.
The Fat Boy, on the other hand, is available in four colors, including a two-tone paint finish that looks like a special model.
Pan America ST and CVO Pan America
The 2025 Pan America ST has a sporty design with 17-inch wheels and a short windshield. The black engine gives it a cool look. This model is likely to appeal to a new target group - the combination of the Revolution Max engine and eye-catching design definitely has potential.
The CVO Pan America, on the other hand, impresses with its top equipment. The 2024 version was already impressive, and the new paintwork goes one better. It's nice to see that Harley-Davidson is staying on the ball with this model. Sooner or later, the CVO Pan America is sure to assert itself on the market. In the summer of 2024, I rode the CVO in Norway, fully loaded, its active chassis always comes to the fore, it balances everything out, truly remarkable.
Harley-Davidson Street Glide Ultra
Many have been waiting for this: Harley-Davidson has unveiled the new Street Glide Ultra. The top-of-the-range tourer is sure to cause a lot of excitement. The new leg shields are particularly striking - they look unusual at first, but as is so often the case with new designs, you will soon get used to them.
The improved weather protection, especially in the leg area, is a big plus at first glance. The color palette is also impressive: stylish and in keeping with the high-quality overall appearance of the tourer.
However, at first glance I miss the LED lighting on the Tour-Pak case. It is very reminiscent of a large accessory case, which can be ordered separately. My first question would therefore be: Is it possible to order LED rear lights for the case as an option? Because this lighting has significantly enhanced the appearance so far.
With the new Skyline OS infotainment system, the Street Glide Ultra also offers state-of-the-art technology. A tourer that is guaranteed to make an impression on long journeys.
