FAAK am SEE, Austria (September 13, 2021) – Harley-Davidson® European Bike Week® 2021 welcomed thousands of motorcyclists from all over Europe to Faaker See, Austria, a beautiful lakeside location in the Carinthia region, from September 7th to 12th. September.

With COVID health and safety a priority, the event was adapted to be held entirely outdoors, during the day only, and included fully compliant security screenings for all individuals at the entrances to the Harley-Davidson Village. The event received high praise from both bikers and local authorities for returning after a forced year-long break due to the pandemic in 2020.

Kolja Rebstock, Regional Vice President Europe, Middle East and Africa at Harley Davidson:

“It was a great pleasure to see the bikers on the road together again, to take part in our event and to bring the unique rumble of Harley-Davidsons back to the beautiful Carinthia region. The iconic Harley-Davidson festival has been reimagined to offer a daytime, outdoor focus on lifestyle experiences, including the full 2021 motorcycle lineup.

I would like to thank all the bikers who traveled here, our partners in Carinthia and the community for the great hospitality we were shown. We look forward to welcoming everyone back to the European Bike Week in Faak in 2022!”

Christian Poglitsch, Mayor of Finkenstein:

“The European Bike Week at Lake Faaker See went very well – the atmosphere was brilliant! I also heard from Harley bikers that they were very happy that an event could take place under the given circumstances. All Harley bikers are already looking forward to next year and to a strong return of the European Bike Week in its original form, which has already been announced, and of course I'm looking forward to it myself. Finally, I would especially like to say the really great discipline and the very positive attitude highlight our Harley-Davidson friends.”
