MILWAUKEE (08/09/2021) – Harley-Davidson is setting new standards with the introduction of a limited edition of the 2021 Street Glide Special in hand-crafted Arctic Blast Limited Edition paint. The company introduced the machine at the 81st Sturgis Motorcycle Rally.
Only 500 examples will be available worldwide, with fuel tanks marked with a corresponding serial number.
“With the Arctic Blast Limited Edition Street Glide Special, we are expanding our reputation for being the best in exclusive factory custom bikes,” commented Jochen Zeitz, Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer of Harley-Davidson.
The Arctic Blast Limited Edition is offered in a single color variant, a deep metallic blue with light blue stripes on a pearl white background.
“Arctic Blast features contrasting stripes that give the impression of movement,” explains Brad Richards, Harley-Davidson Vice President of Styling and Design. “Viewed from a distance, the look is powerfully cohesive, but it also offers interesting details that can only be seen up close, such as the blue pearl effect over the white background and the fascinating hexagons in the paintwork of the cladding.”
