SILVER ANNIVERSARY IN THE NORTH OF GERMANY

The 25th Summertime Party will take place on Sylt from June 6th to 9th

WESTERLAND (May 13, 2024) – Summer, sun, sand and sea – Germany’s northernmost island offers plenty of it. And as a bonus, a seemingly endless horizon, mighty dunes, beach chairs as far as the eye can see, and a unique atmosphere that ensures deep relaxation from the first moment. Perfect ingredients for a relaxing holiday or a few relaxing days. The Summertime Party has been ensuring that this also applies to motorcycle fans for a quarter of a century.

Unbelievable but true: In 2024, the casual event will actually take place for the 25th time. From Thursday, June 6th to Sunday, June 9th, the island will be wearing black and orange and the Sylt chapter, its director Olaf Prott and its sponsoring dealer Michael Knote from Harley-Davidson Fashion Sylt have come up with a lot of ideas to make the anniversary event a very special experience for the participants.

Everyone who is already there on June 5th can look forward to a piece of the traditional cake from the Harley-Davidson Fashion Store in Westerland's Elisabethstraße 3 and on the evening of June 6th the HD Cruise Night will take place for the first time: Am Lister Hafen The Sylt Express sets sail to give visitors the most beautiful view of the picturesque sunset at the Lister Ellenbogen - of course accompanied by the rocking sound of a DJ.

On Friday, Elisabethstraße mutates into the lively Main Street for bikers. Here you can meet your friends, enjoy a hot coffee and shop to your heart's content in the wide range of Harley-Davidson Fashion Sylt until the mega party takes place in the new Kursaal in the evening. A large biker buffet, the popular tombola, the brilliant DJ Ralf Burnett and a cool live gig by the band United 4 ensure that no wish remains unfulfilled.

Saturday is all about the parade across the island. From 9:30 a.m. the bikers set up their bikes on the spa promenade and enjoy their breakfast with live music at Luzifer89, close to the beach. At high noon, the engines are started and the steel wyvern starts moving - accompanied by the applause of the numerous onlookers who have now gathered to marvel at bikes and bikers.

Of course, the trip takes you past the island highlights and of course there is a stop at Gosch in List to eat one of the famous snacks there. In the afternoon you can end the trip in Wenningstedt with music and a cool drink and get excited about the raffle that takes place here among all parade participants.

Afterwards there is still enough time to take a swim in the wild North Sea, admire sheep and wild roses, discover the ancient Frisian houses in Keitum, climb the Hörnum lighthouse or, or, or... Sylt simply has so much to offer! And whoever heads home on Sunday will come back to this magical island in the far north of Germany.
