The criminal investigation department has launched an investigation after unknown perpetrators broke into a garage in recent days and stole a motorcycle.
Apparently, the unknown perpetrator or perpetrators forced their way into the garage, which is located within the garage complex in the center of the village, between November 2 and 5, 2024. A ladies' bicycle and a motorcycle of the brand Harley-Davidson were taken by the strangers, causing total damage of around 28,000 euros. The criminal investigation department secured evidence at the scene and began an investigation into a particularly serious case of theft.
Witnesses who can provide information about the incident or the perpetrators are asked to contact the police. The police are also asking for information about a blue water barrel placed in front of the garage door. Where did this barrel come from? When was it stolen, if applicable? The police in Gadebusch are accepting information at 03886 722-0, as well as any police station.

Burkersdorf: The 46-year-old owner reported the theft of his Harley-Davidson to the police via emergency call on Friday (November 1, 2024). According to the information available, the victim parked his motorcycle at around 3:00 p.m. on November 1, 2024, on Burkersdorfer Weg in the area of a gravel parking lot there. When he returned to his vehicle at around 4:30 p.m., it was no longer there.
Apparently, unknown persons stole the motorcycle. There are no clues as to who did it. The criminal investigation department in Gera is now investigating and looking for witnesses who can provide relevant information about the incident, the perpetrators, or the whereabouts of the red Harley with Gera license plates.
