Harley-Davidson presents the new Triple Vent System in four smart motorcycle jackets
• Style, protection and comfort whatever the outside temperature
• Cleverly placed openings allow adjustable ventilation of the body
When the first rays of sunshine make the motorcyclist's right hand itch, all is well with the world. But as soon as the mercury threatens to burst in the summer and the clothes start to stick damply to the body, the climate collapses under the motorcycle jacket and the concentration collapse in the head.
The new Triple Vent System, which Harley-Davidson is now equipping various motorcycle jackets with, promises to help. It consists of five separately opened and closed ventilation openings on the front and back, which are kept open with press studs and, if desired, create a pleasant and easily adjustable air flow on the upper body.
The system, which is as simple as it is effective, works the same whether you are sitting on the handlebars or on the pillion. This even applies to the trip on faired models, because the jackets were designed as part of the elaborate development of the new Electra and Street Glide types.
Therefore, the ventilation openings are cleverly positioned so that the air flow behind the large batwing panel is used perfectly to cool the body and is not affected even by a backrest. The lasting side effect of the comfortable feature: If you feel completely comfortable on the bike, you will also ride more safely.
For women, Harley-Davidson offers the Triple Vent System in the new “Eclipse Waterproof Leather Jacket” (98069-14VW, RRP: from 574 euros) made of medium-weight, waterproof leather in classic black. Men have the choice between three jackets.
Made of medium-weight, black leather are the “The Beginnings Leather Jacket” (98067-14VM, RRP: from 574 euros) with embroidered black graphics and the “Passing Link Leather Jacket” (98074-14VM, RRP: from 632 euros) Euro) with surfaces in a used look and embroidered graphics in the golden yellow tone of motor oil. The “Innovator Waterproof Functional Jacket” (98539-14VM; RRP: from 479 euros), which is also black, is made of waterproof 600 denier synthetic fiber material and scores with a removable inner jacket.
All four Harley-Davidson Triple Vent jackets offer cozy comfort, reliable protection and inimitable style. They have several practical inside and outside pockets, pleasantly soft lining, stretch pleats in the back and pre-shaped sleeves. High-quality and elaborately processed materials, reflective strips, panels or piping as well as protector pockets benefit safety.
In the “Innovator Waterproof Functional Jacket” the protectors on the elbows and shoulders are already integrated. And the strong look with subtle logos and lettering on the chest and back clearly shows the wearer as a fan of the brand from Milwaukee.
