Harley-Davidson presents the new Softail Slim
The early custom bike builders were concerned with transforming
motorcycles For example, the Bobbers of the 1940s and 1950s - flat, slimmed down and freed from unnecessary decoration. The new Softail Slim is committed to this purist look - and it offers it ex works!
Its creators reduced it to what counts, and despite its massive 16-inch spoked wheels at the front and rear, the wide Hollywood handlebars with a crossbar and the massive fork, it lives up to its name.
The particularly low solo seat and the slim rear with chopped fender fit perfectly into the minimalist design. The art of omission did not stop at covers – for ignition coils or fender struts, for example. A reduction that visually emphasizes the engine.
The Twin Cam 103B has balance shafts to dampen its vibrations and scores with a torque of 132 Nm at 3,250 rpm and an output of 58 kW (79 hp) at 5,250 rpm.
It is coupled to the Cruise Drive six-speed transmission, which ensures low engine speeds on the motorway.
Price from 18,795 euros

Harley-Davidson presents the new Sportster Seventy-Two
Drip candles, slime, men's handbags and ribbon salad - no one will shed a tear for some of the peculiarities of the Seventies.
But where is that hot orange, where are the hot Bonanza bikes and where are the really cool choppers?
Harley-Davidson has a brand new answer to the latter question: It's called the Sportster Seventy-Two - a model name that is not only reminiscent of the 1970s, but also of US Route 72, the popular cruising boulevard in East Los Angeles.
And it was precisely here, in sunny California, that the look was born in the Seventies, to which the team around Harley-Davidson designers Willie G. Davidson and Frank Savage bowed with the new Seventy-Two.
The synthesis of mini-ape handlebars with internally routed cables, deep solo seat and forward footrests is simply a turn-on.
The slim 21-inch wire-spoke front wheel and its 16-inch counterpart at the rear are equipped with elegant whitewall tires that underline the old-school look.
