Experience has shown that organizing an event of this size is very costly and cannot be achieved without long-term planning and a few enthusiasts at your side. Costly security concepts from the authorities often give them the rest, the revenue should at best be generated without admission, finding the right balance here is very difficult and many cooks spoil the broth again quickly.
For Harley-Davidson it does not reflect particularly well on the traditionally popular Harley Days, the name is also used in Hamburg and St. Petersburg verwendet. In Dresden ist es die All in One Event GmbH, wie dort die eigentliche Konstellation war, ist jetzt vielleicht auch nicht mehr so wichtig, jedenfalls hat es alles nichts mit Hamburg oder St. Petersburg zu tun. Hamburg hat bekanntermaßen seine eigenen Probleme, aber hier liegt es an der rot/grünen Politik und die kann man abwählen.

Für Dresden ist der Hammerschlag jetzt nachhaltig schlecht, es gibt wohl noch Leute, die es eventuell 2019 nochmal versuchen wollen, aber wer so kurzfristig absagt, wird sich das Vertrauen für die Zukunft hart erarbeiten müssen.
Und das wohl nicht nur bei den Besuchern, sondern auch bei den Helfern von 2017, denn ohne die wird es noch schwerer werden.
