DRESDEN ROCKED WITH HOT V-TWIN VIBES AND COOL CITY FLAIR
Harley Days Dresden rocked Saxony's capital city
(Frankfurt, July 29, 2025) Dresden is internationally renowned as a cultural highlight with baroque buildings and impressive art – no wonder that the Saxon state capital is also called Florence on the Elbe. For motorcycle enthusiasts, however, it is considered the epicenter of one of the best German city events for fans of motorized transportation: Harley Days Dresden.

This year, the major event took place from July 25 to 27, and thousands of visitors came to experience the spirit that characterizes a Bar and Shield party. The heart of the event once again beat in the open space known as Rinne, next to the Dresden exhibition grounds, where visitors could also camp in the immediate vicinity. The Milwaukee Circle, the ideal promenade for people and machines, awaited visitors on the spacious event grounds.

It was surrounded by numerous catering and dealer stands, where simply everything to do with motorized two-wheelers was on offer. Shopping and feasting were just as much the order of the day here as relaxing and, of course, looking at bikes. At one of the numerous stands, bikes could be adjusted and spruced up on the spot, while in the Expo, where test riding and dreaming were on the agenda, the latest Harley-Davidson models. Current H-D bikes such as the Street Glide Ultra or the Pan America 1250 ST could be ridden right next door in the demo ride area. Around 200 visitors took advantage of the test ride offer.

The H.O.G. area offered relaxation, where fans of the US brand could find out about the unique community, and with the Racecar project, fans dedicated themselves to children with cancer who are supported by Sonnenstrahl e.V. In the middle of the tent city around Milwaukee Circle stood the large open-air stage, where various bands performed – led by Audio Gun, who provided the soundtrack for the event for the fourth time. The stage also provided the perfect backdrop for the popular arm wrestling contest, while motorcycle stuntman Chris Lietsch caused further beads of sweat to form on the audience's foreheads in the immediate vicinity.

On the rides led by the regional H.O.G. chapter, the bikers got to know Dresden's beautiful surroundings with their winding roads and picturesque landscapes – the Ore Mountains in particular proved to be a magnet for V-Twin fans. One of the event highlights was the custom bike show on Saturday, where numerous professionally customized machines vied for the favor of the expert jury and knowledgeable audience. The trophy for the „Best of HDD 2025“ bike went to a participant from Angermünde and his Low Rider S.
On Sunday, 800 engines were started and the guests set off on a grand parade through Dresden. It put big smiles on the faces of thousands of spectators who had gathered along the route to cheer on the procession, take photos, and applaud the passing bikers. It goes without saying that the party celebrating freedom, friendship, and horsepower will take place again in a year's time. The next Harley Days Dresden will be held from July 24 to 26, 2026.
