The expectations are huge, the popularity of the event in Cologne is unbroken. The big event for all music and motorcycle fans, with an extensive program, live bands, custom bike show and parade.
Three days of full program in and around Cologne
As part of the 1st HARLEY DOME COLOGNE, the organizers will be offering plenty of motorcycling-related entertainment from Friday evening to Sunday afternoon.
Friday, May 23, 2014
In the course of Friday, a personal reception for the arriving motorcyclists will be made possible through cooperation with Cologne hotels. The selected accommodation options offer specific offers for all price and space requirements and can be booked in advance.
And since people in Cologne love to party, the event starts in the evening: In pubs, clubs and restaurants between Südstadt and Ehrenfeld, people let their hair down. Harley-Davidson to celebrate the „hundredth“. The following locations will offer supporting programs, information events and meeting points for event participants and visitors:
Meet & Greet Party
The Hard Rock Cafe will open its doors for the official Meet & Greet Party from 21:00.
From 22:00 Hank Davison will open the HARLEY DOME COLOGNE 2014 live with his solo blues program!
Brewery tour
A brewery tour through Cologne's traditional breweries will start at the SION Brauhaus especially for bikers. More information will follow shortly.
Movie night

The event area at the Tanzbrunnen is open from 10:00 a.m. - all-day supporting program
On the event grounds you will find a trading area with accessory, fashion and food stands, various stage programs, Harley on Tour (free and non-binding Harley test rides), a Custom bike show, the ADAC Rollover simulator and other activities.
9:00 to 12:00 - Line-up for the parade
The 1st HARLEY DOME COLOGNE starts on Saturday morning with the star-shaped arrival of all participating Harley riders. The line-up for the parade will take place on the grounds of the Tanzbrunnen and in the neighboring parking lots.
12:00 to 14:00 - Demonstration
The parade starts around 12:00 noon as a demonstration against „intolerance in traffic“ (for more information, visit the website www.harleydomecologne.de). The route leads from the Tanzbrunnen via the Rhine bridges and the Cologne rings back to the starting point.
14:00 to 22:00 - Stage program
The official stage program starts at 14:00 with live bands, custom bike awards and much more.
Live on Stage
TEN YEARS AFTER
Keyboardist Chick Churchill and drummer Ric Lee, the veterans of Ten Years After, have completely reorganized the band with Marcus Bonfanti (guitar/vocals), who has already won a British Blues Award, and bass icon Colin Hodgkinson (Spencer Davis, Peter Green, John Lord, Chris Rea) for the upcoming European tour.
The musical treasure trove contains rarities such as „Gong Run“, „Nowhere To Run“, „I Say Yeah“ and „Standing At The Station“ as well as classics such as „I Woke Up This Morning“, „Hear Me Calling“, „Love Like A Man“, „Good Morning, Little Schoolgirl“, „I'm Going Home“ and „Choo, Choo Mama“.
The blues rock veterans have been busy creating new songs for 2014: Once again, Ten Years After will offer an unbeatable mix of serenity and youthful verve that is second to none!

HANK DAVISON
Back to the roots … Der Altmeister des Biker-Rock wandelt auf Solopfaden. Mit weit über 1.000 Konzerten hat sich Hank Davison im Laufe der Jahre einen festen Platz in der internationalen Motorradszene erspielt. Er stand unter anderem mit ZZ Top, Meat Loaf, Whitesnake, den Scorpions und Rory Gallagher auf der Bühne.
Without any grand gestures or wild posturing, Hank Davison puts on a one-man show that is quite something. In addition to his guitars, he carries what he needs under his beard: his distinctive, smoky, hoarse voice! He fills the stage of his unplugged tour with every fiber of his creaking vocal chords and leads his guests musically from „Bad Moon Rising“ to „Midnight Special“ to pearls of the blues cradle such as „Long as I can see“ from 1906, accompanied by the announcement: „The boys could make really cool music back then.“ With his current program, Hank Davison goes back to the roots of country blues.
Traditional songs alternate with their own compositions - the voice supported only by an acoustic guitar. Rock'n'roll in its most original form.

Blues Brothers tribute band „HEART & SOUL“
When razor-sharp brass sections, crashing guitars and grooving drums paired with a pulsating bass roar out of the speakers and the blues brothers enter the stage in their black suits, ties, hats and glasses, then „Heart & Soul“ are „on the Lord's errand“.
From „Sweet Home Chicago“ to „Viva Las Vegas“, from „Everybody Needs Somebody“ to „Jailhouse Rock“ - not a single hit by the cult band is missing.
With a tireless live presence and an energetic stage show, the band has made a name for itself at more than 300 concerts. Armed with a cannon, the five guys take to the stage and thunder pure rock'n'roll into the ears of their audience. AC/BC offers the full program: a selection of songs ranging from the Bon Scott era to the current „Black Ice“ album. SUNDAY, MAY 25, 2014
Due to the great demand, the HARLEY DOME COLOGNE will continue to take place at the Tanzbrunnen on Sunday from 10:00 am. The JEEP experience course will be open to all visitors, as will the HARLEY ON TOUR test drive station. The fashion and accessories stands will continue to invite visitors to browse and store. There will also be a live Cologne music program.
CAT BALLOU
Genuine, truthful and modern - probably the poppiest band Cologne has to offer at the moment. Further information at www.band-catballou.de.
The guided tours of the 5th Season Chapter of the Harley Owners Group into the Cologne region also start from the Tanzbrunnen grounds.

All admission wristbands purchased on Saturday remain valid. Day tickets can be purchased on site for 5.00 euros (no advance booking possible).
The HARLEY DOME COLOGNE ends at 16:00.
PARADE
Bikers welcome
The feeling of riding a motorcycle is often described as boundless freedom, and a Harley is not just a vehicle, but rather a way of life! However, too many people are still injured on the roads and motorcyclists are often exposed to particular dangers.
The Harley Dome Cologne therefore wants to take a stand
- against intolerance towards motorcyclists
- against violence in road traffic
- for more understanding and greater togetherness on the street.
The bikers will present these positions impressively, peacefully and colorfully at the start of the 2014 motorcycle season.
The parade will be led by various US police vehicles.
The event is under the patronage of Cologne Police President Wolfgang Albers.
ROUTE
Currently planned route: Tanzbrunnen - Deutzer Brücke - city center - Zoobrücke - Tanzbrunnen.
CUSTOM BIKE SHOW
Awards and prizes in five classes:
- Freestyle
- Modified Harley
- Sportster
- Antique
- Touring
The custom bike show will take place on Saturday, May 24 on the Tanzbrunnen grounds. Any custom bike with a Harley background that is operational and ready to ride and can drive to the stand under its own power can take part. Registration and entry is only possible on Saturday between 8:00 and 11:00 am at the main entrance to the Tanzbrunnen. All participants will be allocated a stand.
An expert panel of judges will evaluate all participating custom bikes. The winner of each class will be awarded a prize on stage and will receive not only the winner's trophy but also a
Price. More information will follow shortly.

Tickets for the HARLEY DOME COLOGNE on May 24, 2014 are now available via various ordering options and at advance booking offices.

The day ticket is valid for one person and entitles the holder to enter the event grounds at the Tanzbrunnen. 10,00 Euro plus fees
Priority tickets
The Priority Ticket is valid for one person. It includes admission to the HARLEY DOME COLOGNE and a centrally designated parking space for the Harley at the Tanzbrunnen as well as the opportunity to ride in the front section of the parade. With this ticket it is possible to drive in and out of the designated parking areas at any time. 20.00 Euro plus fees
Please note: Due to the high demand, additional parking spaces have been rented. Priority tickets are therefore still available while stocks last. Priority Parking is reserved exclusively for Harley-Davidson motorcycles. There are other parking options for cars and motorcycles in the immediate vicinity.
